That steamer wont solve all your issues with ironing, it works great on silks, chiffons that kind of material, not cotton/linen dress shirts. I think it would be a waste of your money because it's not going to solve your problem. If you wash your shirts in cold then hang them to dry or put them on a towel on your bed to dry flat your ironing troubles wont be so bad, or the dry cleaners are always another option. Depending on the fabric is where you would set the iron to, cotton shirts can be ironed at a higher heat, where silk, microfibers, and delicate materials must be ironed at a low temp and usually inside out to prevent damgage to the material. Your iron might have settings that say Silk or cotton or so forth.

Check out Personal Edge at Mapleview Mall they may sell it.

So new to this haha man you should have seen me trying to figure out the washer. It was like asking my gf to do an oil change on my car.

I do work in an office so my excuse today was "My GF is away and I am a poor poor child who has no idea how to iron clothes" Atleast my teeth are clean.
Usually your shirts have on the tag what you should be setting your iron to. A little starch or spritz of water helps too. It's take practice but it really isn't that hard guy. Get a few and iron them, you will eventually figure out what works for you.

mandie, steamers work well on cotton shirts...u just wont get the crisp lines of a freshly pressed shirt. for a quick clean up of a wrinkled cotton shirt a steamer is fine...or u can mist it and then throw it in the drier for 10min.

Alright here is the update. That video was awesome haha. I found a couple of steamers at Walmart for weither $60 or $90 depending on the brand. They told me if it doesn't work to my liking then I can return it. So I bought one and yes it works amazing, but Mandie is right that some of the wrinkles it can't get out on my dress shirts so I had to iron those. But for the small wrinkles it does wonders and it cuts my ironing time down so much its crazy. I bought the Steamfast steamer at Walmart. So far so good.

instead of steaming you can also do the travel trick while showering hang your shirt in the bathroom with you and the hot shower steam will straighten out your gear

Speaking of travelling, has anyone ever tried the trick of rolling jeans up instead of laying them flat in the suitcase? I've heard that it prevents wrinkling and saves space in your luggage, but never tried it myself. Curious to know if it works...

I roll all my clothes...takes up less space but does nothing for wrinkles...a good fold has less wrinkles

That's what we did with all our clothes when we went to Florida this year. Had a huge *** bag, kind of like a hockey bag. Most of our clothes were in there. That would be myself, wife and two girls, And we were able to bring everything there and back with the extra we bought, and it wasn't too bad.
