Anyone stuck at a certain weight?

the reason why you need dextrose/maltodextrin in your shake after your workout is because this is when your body is in it's anabolic stage. You muscle's insulin sensitivity is at the highest point it will ever be. Therefore, you need the sugar to spike your insulin levels through the roof and have the insulin transport all the nutrients to your muscle's ASAP.
The way insulin works AGAINST you is when you eat high glycemic carbs at times when your muscle's insulin sensitivty is very low (late at night for example). When you spike your insulin at times like that...everything ends up getting stored as fat.

shlammed: yeah...malto is tough to find here...gotta order it. for me dextrose is enough as i eat lots of complex carbs. i tried doing the ground-up oats post workout out...but thats too nasty.
97SiR: GNC might have everything, but do yourself a favour (in the pocketbook) and try SND or popeyes.
i usually use 1.5 scoops of dextrose (66g) of dextrose to 2 scoops of ON100% whey (48g protein).
