It's not the "system" that is slow and old, it's the internet conection.

I'm not refferring to download speed. i was refferring to how smoothly it displays in the browser when you scroll after it's been downloaded (which is what loudsubz was askign about). connection speed has no relation to this.

pentium3 750 and 768 mb ram.. i have DSl and 56k as backup in case the dsl goes down.. tested on both ocnnections and there's no difference in page display/scrolling...everything is fine here. you must have resource-hogging programs running. and yes al your computer is slow.

you know we could just send slvr hate mail till he removes the pic. that's one solution.

I wanted to try something.....I had a DVD playing......downloading an MP3 sample of a song to listen to before i bought the cd......had photoshop open.....and was checking my e-mail......then I logged onto TCC.......no prob with anything.......as soon as I saw the sig.....BAM!

It only happens when the "pic" is on the screen.........even if only a small part of the "pic" is on the screen.....like when I'm scolling down or up, it slows down the page.......as soon as the pic is out of sight, the page goes back to normal.

Hey SB.......I want you to try something.......make the words not move in your sig......maybe that will help....or make the words a "flash".
