You just wanna rip the audio right...

Take the output of your sound card and plug into another computer.

Get www.goldwave.com..

Record from input of second computer if availabe....

yes i just wanna rip audio.... i did think of that but my old computer is really not working right now and will take a fair bit of time to get working and since my new computer does work i never bothered.... is there any programs that will monitor just audio and record it?? or even convert an entire mpeg to wav or something?? and then i could just delete the rest of the show and just keep that one part??

I was asking 94EG6HB the same thing the other day. The only diff is everytime I did a seach on downloads.com for a recorder, it worked fine......but it wouldn't record the pop up ballons in Real player. Understand?

Alot of streaming audio is in RM, and for some reason all the recorders that I have tried refuse to record it. I've been able to use other programs for recording audio before, but the pop up windows in some media players can't be recorded. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

hahahhaa.... you guys are too funny...just do a wav capture using any software (your sound card probably camem with some) then use win amp to change the format to mp3 or wav...it take as long as it does to hear it....

and if you dont have the software and you are runnign xp sound recorder is supplied in your OS so jsut use that then burn the wav to a cd if you want...anyways...using two computers for this is silly

XP recorder?

Where?

I can't seem to find it.

As for me, I was talking about one computer, not two.

It also only gives me 60 seconds worth of recording (if it did work).

I need something with the capability of recording up to 70 minutes of audio in 16 bit stereo.

i had an older version of winamp that would take an mp3 and instead of playing it as sound out... would record it as a wav that could be burnt directly to cd.... but this new version i have doesn't have that option....

I use Creative Sound recorder, but it only works on Creative soudn cards, and cant install it on another machien without one, I record from streams all the time perfectly.

Try this one guys

http://download.com.com/3000-2168-10...ml?tag=lst-3-3

My buddy uses it for the same thing as me and works perfect, only output us mp3 not WAV.

to record sounds from yur computer to yur computer, you have to go to yur mixer settings too, accessories>entertainment>volume control, open that then click options at the top and click properties, it'll say adjust volume for.. and click 'recording' THEN yur mixer board shuold change, look for the one that says wave, turn it all the way up and make sure it's selected and yur set
just start recording a wav file and then watch the 30 seonds that u wanna record and there ya go.. if u just want it in mp3 so u can listen to it in a car yur burner should just let u add wav files without having to convert them

trailor park boys huh, heh i gotta find the episode where bubbles is rapping and record that one heh

also, if u want a good sound editor, look on kazaa for either cool edit pro, or sonic foundry's sound forge... both excellent programs with tons of features, including mp3 compression

OR if just a 1 time thing u could send the file to somone, i would do it for ya if u can't figure it out, and convert it to mp3 or whatever ya needed
