Yeah it's a little dated. For the people who don't know the term. 3 on a tree was slang for 3 spd manual & the shifter was located on the steering column,

A friend I had back in HighSchool had an old truck that was a 3 on a tree.

looking to do a b18c5/auto in my next civic due to the fact my left leg doesn't work so well anymore. apparently you can get an auto tranny for the b series vtec engines from japan. should be interesting, i just hate the sound of the auto with a performance exhaust...it is like a dull drone noise.

standard is much more fun and that is what i drive, but i find myself loving driving my friend's automatic civic. it feels good to sit back, relax and let the car do it's thing, lol
