I'm not too familiar with how auto wreckers here operate in Ontario but after checking out some websites they seem more sophisticated now with a computerized inventory system.

Are there any wreckers out here where you can simply bring your own tool box and strip the parts off the car yourself? I'm specifically looking for a place that has a good inventory of older VWs from the 80s.

standard auto wreckers has a yard you can go into.
