Automobile Photography Career

I'm looking into photography as a career, mainly automobile photography ie. magazine shoots, car shows etc. and thought I'd ask TCC for some help. What I really want to know is if anyone on here has done this before, I don't really know where to start, who to talk to, and so on. I currently have a Fuji Finepix S5000 and within the next couple of weeks with have a Canon Digital Rebel 300d. I have a portfolio available, but not with to many car shots in it.

I am thinking of taking a little schooling on it, but just some night courses, not a full blown couple of years, but just a bit of schooling so I can learn a bit more. I already know lot's of aspects of digital shooting and editing, lighting etc. I've been doing it over the past couple years. Anyways if anyone in here has any suggestions as of where to start, how to get my name out there etc, let me know. Thanks alot.

And also in the springtime when the weather gets a bit nicer I will be looking for cars to do photoshoots of, strictly for my portfolio, but I will give the owner a copy of the shots, printed out as a incentive. If anyone has a nice car and then wouldnt mind havin some nice pictures of it for there wall, pm me. Thanks,

Kyle.
