As for the 3 holes that form a triangle, I can only geuss that its either a parking distance measuring system, or the leds for a night vison camera. It was too dark to tell without a flash light. I would gueuss the parking thing, because I couldn't see a camera.
well either way it's really cool!!
thanks for posting the pics up!! now i can finally sleep!

The small metal pin next to the left hole........that was a pin switch. Everytime the plate closed, the pin switch would close and turn the undercar neons off.......when the plate opened......neons turned on. Pretty cool........simple, but cool.

A new toy for me to work on.

If you look closely in this pic, you will see the trusses that was used to light up the display room. (above the hood, and behind the cement pole) The back row of cars (farthest away from me)were better lit than the ones were I was standing. Uneven lighting. Also, I would take a guess that there were around 10 or 12 cars outside in the venders area (around 10 venders), and around 40, maybe 50 cars in the display room. (show holders, don't get mad if I was off by 10 cars or so......you can see how I could miss count. )

Anyways, For the price of admision, and the amount of cars that were there, I would give it a 4.....only because the girls there were

Take away the girls.............2...maybe a 3.

I'll tell you one thing, I feel sorry for the shows producers......hope they didn't have to pay too much money to rent the place......if they did, they are in the hole.

Maybe if they try this again, they will get a better turn out. I wish them luck if they do.

I'm glad we got free tickets.

Hate to say it but, I warned you...lol...I already got the 411 from a few friends of mine who called me not to come down cause it would be a waste of money for admission and parking...they referred it to be similar to Speedorama at the International Centre...and then I knew exactly how it would be...oh well, at least you got free tickets....See, when you asked me if it was worth going and I told you it's only good for a time killer, I meant it...lol

Cheers,
Buddah.

I'd like to thank IMPORT FLAVOUR for the cool (almost free) DVD. Can't wait for the killer second volume. (you did say it would blow the one I got outta the water, right? Can't wait to see it.) It will be available at the Skydome Show later next month. (DK5 will be on the video, along with other car shows from across the country).

Did I mention that the Playdium Show that we went to is ON the video that I got today (vol 1)?

Not a whole lot of cars were shown, but if you slow down the video, you will see almost all the cars from TCC that went.

I grabed 2 pics from the video to show you......Recognize the two cars in the top pic, and the guy on the left in the bottom one?

Like I said......they didn't show too much from the playdium show.....too bad.

Slvr-Bullet, your only mad because you had to baby sit you sibblings at a B-day party.

Your fault for not checking for messeges until today. We might have been able to get one more ticket.

Buddah, Speedorama was actually way bigger (and nicer, imo). I told you that we were going to get in for free, so I couldn't complain.....let me correct myself, it cost a whole $5 for each of us (parking).
Ooooo, big deal. I had nothing else better to do, and the girlie show wasn't all that bad on the eyes.....especialy when they kept comming out in less and less clothing. (stupid lighting) Only a couple of pics came out nice.....oh well.

Music was ok as well.....but at times was too loud. Hard to talk to someone about thier car.

Almost forgot, I'd like to thank SiR_YO from PROPARTS for the tickets.
Thanks. (I hoped I spelled your loggin name right?)

One more pic for the road.

The show was REALLY small but since I got in for free im not gonna complain at all (thanks Ed). There was alot of girls with next to nothing on which was fun to look at when you were bored but other than that it wasnt anything special. Al seemed to have a thing for starting a little convo with someone and then keeping the conversation going for about 2 hours long:O:O. He tried recruiting atleast 5 people for torontocivics . The best part of the show was when we first got there and Al asks this random girl if he can take her picture and then I looked to my left and her BIG BLACK BF is looking at him like "im gonna ******* kill this little man". All in all we talked to alot of interesting people and saw some nice rides.

I think TCC should look into having a show of their own, a fundraiser for a charity maybe and have it only be Civics, sols, CRX's and 1.6's or maybe just honda/acuras?

I just want to clarify something....

Anyways about the Silver E36 318/M3 hybrid with the license plate folded down, those blue things hidden inside are rockets.

Similar to the rockets that you can buy from hobby shops and shoot it up. I was also informed by the owner that it can shoot rockets similar to fireworks. Pretty impressive eh?
