Avoid talking on your cellphone while driving from now on!

when u smoke a joint and drive...atleast ur looking at the road, focused opposed to concentrating on typing everything correctly on ur cell fone
i find wen people smoke and drive, they tend to be more cautious of what they are doing its what it does to u. u dont wanna seem high so u do anything u can to not look like it, nd thats by making sure ur not driving like a retard, and on top of that its not even like it affects ur driving in that way anyways...
not saying im justifying that smoking up and driving isright, but i am saying driving while texting is way more dangerous than smoking up and driving

Most also try to drive more carefully because they don't want look like they're driving drunk and thus give another driver on the road cause to call the cops about a suspected impaired driver. They also try to drive more carefully because they certainly don't want to get in an accident if they've been drinking.
And besides, it's not like being just a little drunk affects your driving that much anyways. Thousands drive home from the bars just a little drunk every day, so it must be ok, right? So how is drinking and driving that different from drugs and driving anyways? I guess by your logic both are much safer than texting and driving.

Funny that. I find that when people are driving impaired due to alcohol, they also tend to look at the road.

i would have to agree.
don't forget marijuana is still an illegal narcotic, regardless of it's safety, it should come with a heavier sentence than texting or drinking because texting or drinking on their own are not illegal.
-
this is regardless of my opinion that marijuana should be absolutely legal and treated like alcohol. all laws should be enforced and should be logical.

of course, marijuana should be legalized for general use. i don't smoke it because i don't like the feeling.
i've met lawyers who smoke weed and snort coke
i've met cops who not only smoke weed, but confiscate it from kids and smoke it
people from all walks of life, want to get intoxicated one way or another.
alcohol wasn't made legal again because it is good for you, it was simply uncontrollable..
marijauna is pretty much the same thing.. you've got at least 10% of North American media singing and talking about how amazing weed is.. isn't it time for it to be legal?
I've seen what coke can do to people.. weed is nowhere nearly as bad and all it does is make organized crime richer, give people who like smoking a hard time, and tie up the time/effort/money of our legal system and enforcers.
i think anyone who gets intoxicated and drives is a moron and an addict. No matter what substance they are taking.
And I don't think anyone will be tripping out on a few pills of aspirin. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory, it doesn't make people high or buzzed.

I'll order at work just before I go home, or just stop by on my way and order in person.
Believe me, my wife and my brother have tried to convince me many times of how useful cell phones are, especially when you want to make that very important call, and every time I had a comeback.
Personally I wouldn't even need a cellphone, let alone one that I use in the car. The only reason why I have a cell phone is because my job requires it.

i hate abuse of authority.
above everything, we need a lot more checks and balances, and draconian methods of dealing with them.
we could learn a thing or two from China or mother Russia.
