I was wondering how much you paid for your changeover to B18B. As you may have read elsewhere, I will be doing this in the near future with a custom IHI ball bearing turbo, and a fully polished block and tranny case for that blingin' stunna' look. Just need an appx price. Thanks!

 

I paid dirt cheap.. bought the motor off a friend who owns an RS, and was swapping to a GSR motor.

Anyways.. if you're interested i have a B18B core at the moment... by core i mean complete bottom end and complete head.. no trannny, IM, EM, distributor, starter, alternator, or ecu. I also have 2 GSR trannies, one JDM with LSD, the other USDM without LSD.... if you're interested in either lemme know.

 

Well, I just bought a damn house, otherwise I'd get that off you this weekend. Now I have to wait till about April to get all this stuff. Sure, if you still have it then, keep me in mind. Actually we've already spoken to Tiretrends months ago. Their proposal was not up to par with what our other sponsors have offered so we passed on it.

 

OK, but for the record, they have really great deals...I was looking at buying a set of rubbers for next summer from them cause their winter price is so cheap. Perhaps this time he may have something better to offer you since he is currently doing sponsorships with some Ottawa clubs, so he prob has a better idea of what it takes to be in the e-game.

 

I agree.. their every day prices are great... and the customer service is awesome... things just didn't work out business-wise.
