Depending on what resort you stay ay you'll be feeling the same way down there hehe. Be careful what you eat down there, and try to avoid a hangover (impossible anyways). I got the worst hangover like the second last day I was there. No headache or anything but lets just say I left my trademark in many of the city's fine establishments haha.

Flu - Diarriah - Cold - Fever - Muscular Pain

Any Symptons?

"dry, scratchy or sore throat

coughing (usually begins with a dry cough, but later it can be accompanied by sputum and phlegm)

runny nose or congestion

sneezing (triggered by nasal congestion)

headache (due to congestion)

earache (also brought on by congestion, especially in children)

slight fever and chills (more common in children than adults) "

Thank god my cousin is a Pharmacist at SDM, medication at cost

Anyways I'd recommend you get to your local SDM NOW, get the Vicks Convenience Pack, take it all according to time schedule.

Before you sleep absolutely take 2 Nyquils, you will feel dozey for 12 hours, after 6 hours to sleeping time take 6 dayquils. This will definately help you.

Treating it without medication

"Bed rest for a day or two.

Keep comfortably warm.

Drink plenty of fluids. Hot fluids, such as chicken broth, are preferable.

A warm salt-water gargle may ease a sore throat. To prepare a salt-water gargle, add 1/4 teaspoonful of salt to 250 ml (8 ounces) of warm water. Gargle a small amount for about 15 seconds several times during the day.

Humidifiers can keep the air moist in an effort to soothe coughs. The extra vapour can also help loosen mucus in the chest. If you use a humidifier, it is very important to clean it regularly. "

I thought only doctors were allowed to recommend medical cocktails such as you've discribed...

warning: the medicine discribed above is for the common cold NOT the flu.

I'd recommend seeing a doctor lots of rest and water... water is important when you puke your guts out because you lose a lot of water from the act of vomitting...

ok fine nyquil is for flus... probably dayquil for that matter too but you want to mix that in with soup and vicks??

for this flu thing ... water does wonders... putting all that medicine in your system won't cure you any quickier, the medicine just releaves the symptoms so that you can function... your body on the other hand just wants you to sit your *** down and rest while it fights the battle inside you.. (thats why you feel the symptoms) there is no cure for the flu or the common cold... I say skip the medicine and feel the symptoms so that you know when your body is done the fight... and drink water to aid it in the fight ... medical cocktails is just junking up the system
