Agreed a small deal but if Jones was unhappy, it's good to move him on and bring in a fresh guy with possibly a more positive attitude. You gotta like Dixon, tough life that might have sunk most and he's playing in the NBA.

I don't think he was that unhappy. Of course you want PT, but he was very professional about it and didn't complain like some people that use to play for the Raps. What it comes down to was contracts. Dixon is a better shooter, but he is also a guard, so time will tell to see when he will play. His contract gives them about 500 k more in salary cap room and expires earlier.

Jones now plays for his hometown team, so I think it was a win win situation.

I heard Fred on the Fan and he understood the team was playing well and waited for his time as he understood that things were going well with the guys that were gettiing PT . I wish the best for him in Portland

Jones did nothing wrong for the fans to boo him, got hurt and went cold. He's leaving the way you should, not like Vince Quitter or that biatch Mourning who wouldn't even report.
