Yeah they are in first place, but with a losing record. That division is really pathetic. Having said that, they are playing good ball without Bosh and at one point without some other key players. Like I said before, lets see where they are at come all star break. But I like what I see and hope in a couple of years, they continue to grow and get better!

I say we sell Bosh high, he hasn't put on much weight the past couple of seasons and has struggled noticeably at times this season, I say Colangelo makes a blockbuster trade, Bosh and Morris Peterson for a really good player...

Oh yeah, and don't forget that all salaries have to match both ways within 15%.
Lets her them.

It makes zero sense to even trade Bosh because his contract wasn't done. If they wanted to trade him, they would have done so instead of singing him to a long term contract.
What is is that you guys don't like in Bosh's game? You guys have to realize that they have 9 new players trying to gel and play as a unit. Bosh is there best player almost averaging a double double in points and rebounds and you want to trade him for a player with one year less experience?
If anything, they have filled the areas that were needed to be filled. Its a matter of time and patience to see if they mesh. Also, to see if Mitchell can coach this team.
You want to see a high price player come here, cause that is what you will get by trying to get a great player, not good a great, because Bosh is already there. You trade up your young top talented player along with others for one guy?
Yeah, they will do much better!

It is with thought and I am not on the internet 24/7.
No disrespect to Bosh, but in the NBA you have to make deals to improve. Bosh has not shown too much improvement is all I'm saying, yet still is one of the top vote getters in the East (Canada votes for him) He gets a double double yes, but he isn't really a player that you can rely on in a tight game down the stretch. He has a few moves that he does well down low, but he lacks the size to dominate in the lowpost. Peterson has bad shot selection (like Doug Christie, Vince Carter) and generally makes other players follow suit.
Who to trade for? That's not my job, and you have to match salaries and ****, but if you get signed to a huge contract and then don't improve too much (if at all) this season and the team is even playing better (at times) without you, then it MIGHT be a good time to sell high, if that is feasible. Little ***** Carter got signed to a big contract and then starting playing like ****..
If Peterson and Bosh went together, an EXAMPLE of a player that I think would be a good tradeoff would be Boozer and maybe another Jazz player or something..
Go nuts...

Also, are you sure that another player in the mix would do better? Just because Boozer is playing well in Utah, doesn't mean the same would happen here. Boozer pretty much sucked last year and had the odd game here and there, but now he is gelling with his team and is consistantly playing better...... see where I am going with this?
Again, you have not shown any concrete reason why to get rid of Bosh and another player for basically the same player or less, because that is what you will get.
And as far as making deals to improve you are also restricted by a salary cap as well as a salary match when making deals, so it's not as easy as you make it out to be. They got rid of Arujo which I thought would be next to impossible but they got a bit better player that can come in and give a couple of minutes where Arujo is basically crap. They got a legitimate centre, got a legitimate point guard and all in between. Not the best players in the league but together they make a much better team than they have had in a long time.
If anything, they might need another go to guy or a sniper from the 3 stripe but that is it to add for Bosh, other than that, they have already given up talent for their point guard in Charlie V.
And what does being on the net 24/7 have to do with anything? Never said you were nor I.

Buddy what are you talking about? I guess you didn't see the couple of games he has won with the last shot? Again, he has improved, he wasn't averaging close to a double double last year, to me that is improvement and he has a better supporting role. And again, why would you trade someone you just signed to a long term contract if you weren't committed to them? That is a waste of cash so yes, this was said without thought because what should have been said is, they should have traded him and not resigned him.

You are the type who was cheering for Viince Carter when I and many other people recognized the BS going on (and AFTER signing him too, and no Bosh is not like Carter, but just mentioning it because he had a huge contract the prior couple years) Merry Christmas buddy, don't take this too personal.

Bottomline is that the division is crap and they have a great chance to take it or a good position. As far as Bosh goes, he needs to be the franchise player for now and the future. Great player, good in the community and appears to have his head screwed on right.
