bleh... i'd rather watch a curling tourney than the spurs play ball... sure they're good but they're boring as ****...

pistons are bit more exciting but stil...

i realy hope atleast one of those guys gets upset right here... and we have a half decent final series...

True enough, the only team that can turn it up and make it exciting is the Cav's. If the Cavs and Jazz were to be the finals, would be more fun to watch than Spurs and Pistons. Both those teams are so boring to watch. Suns got ripped off thanks to Robert "I should retire because I look like Will Smith" Horry!

Boo!

In the ever-evolving Kobe Bryant fiasco, it now seems that Kobe is open to staying with the Lakers. During an interview with 570-AM, Kobe said his agent, Rob Pelinka, called Mitch Kupchak this morning to inform him of Kobe's trade demand. Yet, a phone call from Phil Jackson apparently changed Kobe's mind. Phil told Kobe that the Lakers are not committed to building a winning roster and are going to scrap their long-term plan.

So here's the latest from Kobe:

``I can only hope that they do something, because I don't want to go no place else. I don't want to. I want to stay here. I hope they do something.''

``Phil said, `we want our players to feel confortable and feel that they can trust the people they're around.' He said, `Let us try to work that out. Let us try to figure things out.' That made me feel a lot better. Phil is a guy I leaned on all season for clarity and hope. Right now, it's no different.''

``(Phil) said, `They are now determined to do something.' They're determined to get something done and they're off this long-term plan thing. They want to go ahead and get something done. For me, the frustration would have been alleviated if they had told me about a long-term plan.''

Asked directly if he wanted to stay with the Lakers, ``Man, more than anything. That's why I hope they can do something. Figure something out. When Phil and I talked, it was an emotional conversation and he said, `You know what, Kobe, just let us try to figure this thing out.' That gave me some hope because I don't want to go no place else. I want to stay here. This is my team. I love it here.''

Make up your ****ing mind!

If it was, then the Spurs wouldn't be in the finals. Think about it, they would have the Suns and another fast paced team or a team with an exciting superstar playing in finals to generate more revenue and TV ratings.

who knows maybe stern likes boring basketball?

i agree there should be a cheap shot rule sorta like the hack-a-shaq rule they implemented for fouls like horry's that was weak and the suns definitely payed for it... emotions run high by the time you run over to defend a teammate it's too late to remember that you're supposed to stay 'in the vicinity of the bench'

if it is indeed spurs & detroit in the finals i def wont' be watching any of the games unless i'm bored @ home... detroit/cavs i only watch cuz i want the cavs to win.... spurs/jazz i didn't watch cuz the jazz had no chance...

what a terrible end to the league this year... same with the NHL finals noone really cares i mean we like the sens and all but the ducks? bleh...

i really hope next season is different and I hope the raps have something to bring them past Round 1

I think this years draft and free agent pool should make for a very interesting summer. I know the Raps want to make some moves to get better, but are limited to what they can do.

^^ Yup, considered one of the greatest feats in play-off history. Took over and scored (I think) 28 consecutive points since 8 min left in the 4th and right into double OT, not to mentioned the winning basket to beat the Pistons by 2. One word: Unbeleivable!!

He was unbelievable last night. To be honest, the first two games of this series, they could have won. I think it might be their time to win. We will see.

I would love to see them go to the finals!

I want the Cavs to win but if they do I think the Spurs will sweep them in 4.

Given the fact that this is the deepest the cavs has made it since James was drafted...I'd like to see them to the finals as well.

For sure! I think the Cav's can handle the Spurs. It will be interesting to see how the match ups go. It will me much more entertaining than watching Detroit play them
