**Note this line in the article**

It’s important to note that this story has not been confirmed by the league (nor has it been denied).

I think this would be hard to pass through the players association. But having said that, if this is true, we will see what happens.

Yeah and Carter was falling all over the floor again claiming to be "hurt"

What a wimp.........

Yes Congrats to CB4! Well deserved.

Notice how as soon as Mr Carter was traded, he was no longer the top vote getter for the All star game?

Haha, JP, I was watching TNT preview and Sir Charles, and crew were talking to Arenas. He was behind by 200, 000 votes two weeks before, something like that and beat out Carter by 3010 votes!

Burn!!

Yea, what up with the Celtics lately? Can they not play without Double P? It's hard to belive that they are basement dwellers. I think like 8 or 9 in a row now?

Not so hard to believe, there record is bad, but they are only like 3 games behind Toronto who are 21 - 22, the whole Altlantic division is bad. If any one team in there has a 5 game win streak, they could easily take or come close to first place.

Yeah, it's bad in the Atlantic Div. All teams are in the below .500 so the Raps need this game tonight to get there. NJ isn't too far behind having won 7 of their last 10 like the Raps had. I think it should be a good game against Boston since they too want to make a name of themselves. Raps gotta learn from history that they should not take sub-pared teams for granted. It could come back and bite them in the as$.

There not the same team like in the past. Good example is the last game they played against New Orleans, they should have lost that game but they stole that one and won by 2. That same game last year doesn't happen for sure. NJ lost their last two games in the last seconds of the game, I figure that they are huge blows to them and they are playing there games out west. Richard Jefferson is out and havind surgery on his ankle, so I think the injuries to the NJ squad is gonna hurt them for sure. Toronto keeps getting better and better. I am liking their chances of winning the division. NY is sneaking up though and quietly playing well.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think it's the fact that "Starbury" is starting to see the light and will eventually step it up and guide/lead his team. He can be a superstar if he check his ego at the door.

Soooooooooo true. I was thinking the same thing with AI and Mello, but their first game together seem to be real good!

Their second game wasn't too bad either. Like AI said, he's gonna step back and let Melo take the reins. Both games AI's score is second to Melo's. They are gettin' good since Melo's back in action.

I dont know if this has been mentioned but the rumor mills are saying that Carter might be coming back to Toronto..

His contract is up with NJ this season, and rumors say toronto is interested in bringing him back..
When I heard it/and still think that not a chance..

but then again, he had a problem with the management, which has changed...
Im sure if he did come back, after a little while the fans would not boo him anyways.. if he played well most would just jumpon the bangwagon anyway..

but I doubt it would happen anyway.. just a rumor going around.

That rumour is old. The last rumour had Carter and Collins going to the Clippers, but that died too.

I knew they could do it as long as they stay focus and play as a team. They're gellin' pretty well together.

And as for the Carter rumours, it's just that. I'm not sure if he would come back after that nasty departure. I guess we'll see if it does come to that.

It wouldn't make sense anyways, they would have to give up too much. Again, we would have to come within 15% of his salary in order to make the trade legit. Only way that is happening is giving up Bosh or giving up two to possibly three players. Second, if you saw the half time interview with Colangelo, he is all about team chemestry and making their salary cap work. No way Carter coming back makes this team better imo.

Game was good, they had a lapse in the 3rd, but the D was turned up big time in the 4th. Garbo was great in the end. Parker was unreal from the arc.
