The Beautiful Game
I know there are some football supporters on this site. Jonathan/Arsenal, Jeff/ManUtd, myself/Tottenham. I see Everton and Juventus fans are also among us.
Any other any other serious supporters out there?

You're talking jibberish... what's juventus? don't bring that "football" round here... We support sanctioned around here Soccer is cool to watch in person, get trashed, then riot. It's kinda bunk if it's on TV, cuz you end up rioting by yourself in your own house, destroying your own crap.

Growing up I was a big Liverpool fan...used to watch with my grandfather and that was HIS team... not I am not really loyal to anyone team...just enjoy a good game everyonce in a while on the tube.
I usually don't stop for Italian games though...much prefer English Premier and the Englisg style.
Oh, I play too. I belong to 2 teams in the GTA and "freelance" to 2 others. I play 4 times a week during the summer, but cut that down to three during the winter.
Just for fun I have attached a quote from a write-up from one of the teams I freelance with...taken from last Sunday's game.
"Our fiery, red-headed ringer, Dan, of Tony's other team, was playing a solid game. He notched a toe poke in the second half an d created many an opportunity. His somewhat rough style, (I see how Tony fits in on their team) earned him much squawking from the opposing team. In fact, he sent 3 men in total, injured to their bench. All legitimate tackles mind you... "

Im gonna get serious flamage for this one but I never watched football or hockey or any sports like that growing up much. I have no interest in them, and actually find them boring. I used to watch shows on tv about hackers, and junkyard wars and anything to do with inventing crap or sci fi junk.

But then again if my aunt had ***** she'd be my uncle....oh well.
But everyone must agree Rooney is a star in the making...only 16 and already being considered for the National team.
I also wish Beckham would start playing for man U again....then they would start going downhill cuz he's a ball hog and insists on taking every set play. Got to learn to switch it up a bit Mr spice gurl.
