BELL F*CKING SUCKS! warning: rant

Bell in general ****ing sucks, if you are looking for a new cellphone provider or wahtever DO NOT go with bell, i have had my new 9700 with them since november and it has been NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with them and their system by trying to charge me 300$ a month for a plan thats only supposed to be 50$ with UNLIMITED EVERYTHING. the main reason for this rant is that i was LIED TO by 2 of their employees about fees that i had to pay telling me that the fees are no longer active and that i would have no fees to pay. but OH bill comes in and it tells me that i have some fees to pay for a number change which i was told was no longer active and that i should not worry about it! so then spent almost 2 hours on the phone with 3 agents and 1 supervisor only to be told that they cannot do anything about the fees and that the best they can do is give me 50 long distance minutes! WHAT THE **** am i gonna do with long distance minutes when i already have my5?!?! please ****ing tell me. anyways bell ****ing sucks bottom line and noone is willing to help me even though THEY ****ED UP COMPLETELY. **** YOU BELL AND ANYONE THAT WORKS THERE, YOURE ALL LYING SACKS OF ****! I DONT CARE IF YOU HAVENT DONE ANYTHING TO ME BUT ONE WAY OR ANOTHER YOUVE ****ED SOMEBODY ELSE OVER! i ****ing hate bell period.

damn homie...i hear wah u mean..i had the same experience with FIDO and they only offered me free 50 min long distance LOL...so i understand where ur commin from...
was this the retention centre that offered u this or was it customer service?
if its csr...they can screw themselves..try retention centre. I got Fido to give me unlimited txting and incoming once i threatened to leave them , but i spoke to their retention department

OOOHHHH buddy i feel ya! ****BELL IS THE WORST***** I bought a palm pre back in september(decent smartphone, shity hardware, great software)
-35 days after i buy it the headphone jack messed up so i could only make calls using speakerphone, they send me a REVERBISHED with scratches and stuff. i told them no, im only taking a new one, or another in mint condition like mine. I had to fix it myself with rubbing alcohol and a q tip
-couple days after that they drop the phone price from 200 to 100, then a few week later its free
-bought bell car charger, not the palm one, yea that doesnt work
-Bell rep promised me better coverage than my old samsung, yea its the same, **** service everywhere
-Bell rep insisted i need 1GB of data, i kept telling him now 500mb is fine, i havent gone over 25mb yet
-Buddy at work has the iphone with bell, gets coverage at my work, i dont and we pay the same
I call this week complaining this is bullcrap we both pay the same and i dont get coverage and he does just asking for better text package they wont do ****. Been with them 4 years doesnt mean jack. I say i want to cancel, $600!!!!, $200 they want for the phone. I told them already gave you $200 and now ur offering it others for free.
BELL IS SCUM MF!!! SCUM!!! They say they have the best network in Canada. BULLCRAP!!!
Going with Rogers when im done with them!!!

i have Bell unlmimted everyhting plan through work and it is amazing.

yes they did screw up my plan a few times, like when i changed from a windows phone to blackberry they charged me $30 for handset internet handling fee or some **** like that, called them and it was taken off. then another $40 at the beginning for activation, called and got taken off.

so yea they do make mistakes and did charge me for 2 long distance when it shouldnt have been nut everytime i call they take off the charges and im good to go.

and last time i called i complained about the time im wasting calling them to resolve and issue they should have done correctly and that i could be maming money in this time and they gave me a offer to switch my handset unlimited amount of times for the reamined of my term with them, which is still like 26 months...

so new iphone, here i come! lol

This is nothing new. My dad was with bell mobility for over 20 years, and my dad wasnt one to call in retentions either, so he was paying FULL PRICE for 20 yrs. At the end of his last contract. We called in, asked them for a blackberry and a better plan, ie, one of the ones that were available to new activations. They said we'll give you $20 off a new regular phone, but nothing was available for smartphones. I told them to shove it. Switched to robers, the lesser of two evils. Now he's paying much less.

And when Bell calls us asking to switch to them, I giv em an earful for 15 mins. Just to waste their time. It makes me feel better. hahaha

Rogers isnt much better. I've yelled at them many many times for being halfassed incompetent morons. But at least when i yell at them, i get free stuff and credits. haha

Fido had the best CS for me. If there were any problems, they were more then willing to give you a credit (5, 10, 15 depending on how they screwed up!!)

i have the 9700 which has the 3+G that you speak of but it is my 6th one since it came out because the bell 9700"s suck! bell in general sucks the only reason i went with them was because i get half off on their monthly plans. i promise to never go with bell again, they **** up and they dont do **** for me, i have heard of people calling rogers complaining that their phone doesnt work and they send them a new one or refurb one no questions but with bell YOU ARE SCREWED! bells coverage just plain sucks, they dont even have their new network down packed yet, there are some places when it wont even call and it will jsut display "call failed" and the rep just told me to call them when this happens again BUT WAITTTT I CANT! f*ckin dumbasses. im still mad at them, its not even the fact that i have to pay fees because i dont mind as long as SOMEONE TELLS ME and doesnt ****in lie to me, im a man of my principles and it pisses me the f*ck off lol

^^^I know man. Everyone who is with rogers and has a problem gets it fixed with a credit. Bell, forget it, your screwed. My buddy got his rogers plan from 60 to 40 with issues hes had. I had a problem with my rogers cable, they took $20 off the bill.

I got rogers and so far no problems.. I think they over charge me twice but i was given a credit

I had bell a few years back and i dont like it.. I still remember my last bill 450 $$$ for a 50 $ plan.. I was force to pay it because the collection agencies were already calling... !! never again

I been with Telus and they are MINT.... I had Bell and Rogers in the past, Bell by far is the worst!! Rogers kept messing up my bills by outrageous amounts. IMO I find Telus easy to deal with!!

Wow, im kind of scared after all this. I just signed up with bell last month through work. I went with them because I get 50% off their plans, I chose the Blackberry 9700 which i got for 100$ on a 3yr term, and I get the 100$ unlimited plan for half off. I have been with telus since I first got a cell and got dicked around from time to time. Was with Fido after them for a few months with my Iphone but switched to bell for a all around better plan with more features for a lesser price. So Iam only on my second invoice and no issues so far, so Ill see what happens in the future.

yea regarding wind mobile i have heard nothing but good things about them so far.


i am with rogers, and have a kick *** plan with them, call customer retention and they will fix everything for you.

you dont by any chance work for bestbuy do you? i am on the exact same plan that you are on with the exact same phone. the first months i had my phone they tried to f*ck me by saying that i do not have a discount. then when i proved that i did they said that it was all a system error in the first place and that they would get it fixed but it took them another 3 months to sort that out!

As an ex employee of bell. I do have to agree with everyone that Bells customer service is ****! The best and only way to deal with them is to go to the store (a slower one) be nice to the rep, and ask them to call THERE retention line and see what they can do. Make sure they are properly noted, go home, call back the next day to confirm day and see what that other rep left on the account as notes. NEVER DO ANYTHING WITH 1 REP! Make sure another rep can repeat the deal.

For those who have the 9700 stop bitching and update your software. Most problems with the 9700 is software issues. (i mean that in a nice way.)

For that dude that had the palm pre. Your comparing a network that is like 10 years old to a network that is a few months old. ALL of the companies that SEND you a new phone are refurbished no matter where you go. PS: you can reduce the data plan with no additional charges. Your contract states that you need to keep the data plan not which one.

AS for speed, BELL is the fastest one (mobile). Put a 9700 with bell and a 9700 with rogers side by side and see which one is better. Or get the speedtest.net app for the iphone and watch bell rape rogers. (bell internet is *****, there 25 mb line looks cool, but still too much)

As an fyi, there is a csr that regularly goes to eaton centre. Ive heard this lady does miracles. Take all your bills in and get her to explain it to you or she can just fix all the errors on the spot and credit you. I know its not the best solution but for $450 charges i wouldnt mind making a visit to eaton centre. Just call and ask when they will be in.

As for hardware issues, sadly bell likes to play everything by the books, they have a set policy and they stick to it. If palm says you have 10 min of usage on the phone, if you use 11 bell wont do **** with you, Thats why i love rogers. If you have a phone that ***** on you after a year they will make an offer for a new phone without renewing. Where Bell will say, "eh, Not my problem"

I will defend bell with there network and phones, (keep in mind bell does MAKE the phones, they resell them)

I will agree that bell is **** with customer service. Like complete garbage.
