The IS300 can make well over 400hp boosted without a "kaboom" with proper tuning. Go to www.is300.net which, though it's filled with snobs, has many boosted IS300s that are making 500hp.

So Lexus has FINALLY caught up to the M3, too bad the E46 M3 is all but gone with the new V8 M3 and M4 coming out.

It'd still take the amazing 3.2l Inline 6 making 333hp (That's underrated by the way, I've seen stock M3's dyno at 290) than the V8 in the Lexus.

I'll take anything Japanese over anything German anyday except for dampeners and springs. I like those two to be from Europe (Holland, Germany, Austria, Sweden, etc...) - like Bilstein, Koni, Ohlins, Eibach, H&R, etc.... but EVERYTHING ELSE, like electronics - I'll take Nippon-Denso over Bosch every day of the week, I'll take Sony over Blaupunkt, and so on...

Oh, one more thing I like from Europe... Nokia phones.

Are you serious, Lexus is overpriced? Not to knock BMW, but it seems the other way around to me.

hahaha, I can't concieve why BMW still has manual windows in some models, and the fact they have vinyl interiors in some of them too you gotta pay extra on top of the BMW price to make it into a luxury automobile.

If I was seeking mid-luxury value I'd honestly look at leasing/buying a Taurus SHO V8 but if I was for sure gonna buy a luxury sedan that would stay in my garage, I'd definitely look at the Asian lineup more closely, whether it's a GS430, IS300, the new TL from Acura *dreamy*, or the Infinity M45... it would HAVE to be Japanse. Most likely Toyota, due to their diligent work with their formula racing program, and their 6 bolt main blocks. Also, the straight six Supra engine that can hold insane HP on a stock bottom end

the new Lexus looks sick, dont like the paint too much though!

Torque is awesome when u compare it!
but what about the STI????? doesnt it have consider amounts of both HP and TQ?

the list can go on,

i love the M3's damn nice car! if i had money i would buy it in a heart beat! but buying a car like that is like having a mortgage on wheels!

id rather a porches GT2 or GT3
heck for that price, id rather a S2000, and then FI that SOB!
