Bored?

How about some feedback on how we discovered TCC, and what we enjoy about it?

What else would you do if there was no TCC?

Let's see what everyone has to say!

I found the club through Sirgirl aka Sunshine. I used to work with her and saw the orginal stickers on her black and beautiful sir at the coin op . Went on the site . Lurked for a little and then showed up and have been here ever since. If I wasn't here I would be at the gym .... +1

Believe it or not I was at chapters with my g/f reading car magazines and was thinking to myself (and also said to my g/f) that I wanted to possible start a Civic club in Mississauga. Just after I said that I saw that add in SportCompactNational and went home and joined right away. And here I am today...If there was no TCC i would be bored and probably a little richer!

Sorry, I have nothing to sell and nothing to buy off classifieds, and I have no advise to give anyone with problems, so...

Here goes...

I was referred to TCC by someone I work with in Hamilton, who I think went by the name "92EG6"??? Apparently, his car does 13 seconds at the track... maybe you've heard of him?. Anyways, when I first drove my '02 SiR to work, about twenty people crowded around the car, and made their good and bad comments... and at that time, this guy suggested that I check out www.torontocivics.com. I came home that night, checked out TCC, and I've been here since.

I enjoy meeting other members. Those of you that I've met so far are very friendly, good people... so you seem anyways .
I like going to the meets and seeing the cars. It's something to do for someone like me who usually goes to work, comes home and goes to bed. (so, I have no life...).
Oh ya, I like the forum too.

Thanks to everyone who created TCC, and those of you who have made it a success!

LOL
mine descovery of TCC oddly enough had to do with street racing lol
it was like 3 weeks into owning my 97 Civic CX. It was one of those WEIRD really WARM days in Januarayand my buddy Starks took me up to the races up on HWY 7 and where ever (you know the place) anyways i was chillin in my car with no mods done to it lol and a guy that drove a turbo swift was asking me to race i was like NO WAY lol (later on i saw it kick the CRAP out of a 240sx)
anyways while i was sitting there waiting for something to happen i SWEET looking Silver SIR drove infront of me really slow i got a good look at it and it was PHAT SIR (R.I.P.), and i thought it was kinda cool at first but i was intimated at first cause i saw a sweet looking SIR and i had a shitty CX so i didn't think anything of it really
but i was really bored one day and i was like ill check out that web page. and the next wednesday i was at COMERANCE GATE all shy and stuff but pulling a Brian Spilner styles lol and its been the best choice ive made since buying the CX everything has been great and im really happy that there is a BIG PILE OF MEMBERS now
Commerance Gate is going to be PACKED this winter I CAN"T WAIT setting off the O2 censors and car alarms and those radio Install while the cops ask if your stealing it or not lol
I CAN"T WAIT bubble tea and DDR upstairs did i say i CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I want to become more involved with the club aswell but i don't know what i can do... (i know some ppl say i could shut up lol )

I was surfing through some sites (Hondaracing.ca, ClubSi.com) and saw posts by Agent Orange that he wanted to start this club. Went to the very FIRST meet @ The Promenade and the rest is history

I joined this month (August 2002) after finding this site (by accident) while surfing the web at work. Became a member last week and looking forward to meeting more Civic owners as time goes by.

I started out at the beginning, my husband found this yahoo board, and started posting. We ended up going to the first meet at Kennedy Commons, I was just the wife at first, just hanging out at the meets, but then started posting sometime in October 2001. Haven't turned back since
