Everyone is always complaining it is so cold.....we barely get any snow and barely any cold. I walked to my car and walked 10 minutes to my class this morning and it wasnt that bad at all. People make a really big deal of it for nothing. We live don't even have it close to as bad as other parts. I for one, enjoy winter!

well I never complain because thats what Im getting paid to do.. But its really not that bad.. Im just saying that I sometimes I do have to work outside no matter how cold the weather.. It sucks compaired to the normal weather but not so bad..
I know that sometimes the boss starts at 6am, then works till 6pm-7pm.. then get sleep from 12am-4am and get a call and have to work from 4am-6pm again.. thats just the cost of running your own business again.. and when you get up at 4am and start working outside im sure its not pleasant..
Its better than roofers in the summer, I feel for those guys..

Work outside 50% of the time. Worst so far has been changing ballasts for fixtures that were about 20 ft up. I can't wear gloves because I need to work with wires, so yeah... frozen hands are guaranteed. Do that for about 3 hours, it gets pretty cold.

the only thing that gets annoying is that you cant wear gloves so your hands are bare and cold tools and part are not cool.. but once you get used to it, it gets fine.. and when your done and warm your hands up.. ahh so nice

50/50 for me too.
Today was brutal, had to spend all day indoors, but the place had no heat haha. I got to the job and thought nice, its going to be warm inside, but the place was vacant and the gas had been turned off to the heater so it was freezing inside all day and had to work with precision screw drivers in the cold made my hands numb...
