the government should definitely focus more on this instead of murder and rape.

as a society, i don't think we do enough to stop people from downloading bad sitcoms and a couple of action flicks.

that's horrible, it's not like you can buy them anywhere how are they losing money by people downloading the tv shows AFTER they've aired?

uber gh3y!!

silversig, piracy is piracy. even the movie set painter who gets paid by the hour somehow feels cheated when you download a movie.

i didn't know the entire crew was involved in profit sharing

They were going to do this sooner or later, they weren't getting enough DVD sales

hahah, the movie set painter gets paid the same regardless.

only the company execs and maybe the stars of the movie if they're big names suffer cuz many times they get % of sales

and imo they have enough money as it is, i'm struggling to do up a nice civic and they're deciding what to do with a 30 room mansion 10 cars and they work 5 months a year...

If rich, corporate big wigs were the only ones getting raped and murdered, then maybe we'd see a shift in focus.

Until then, we can only hope, Sev...

That's ok if they've gone, more sites will just come along to replace them. Remember when suprnova went away? I had trouble finding good torrents for a couple days but then voila, found new sites and even more stuff to d/l!

I think that there are quite a few sites that are set up outside the US, like in Europe and stuff.

I remember reading on one of the torrent web sites how he created his site mainly because he had read up on copywrite laws and how he was exempt from its jurisdiction. There was a ton of legal mumbo jumbo that he had in there, but it all seemed to make sense. If I can find the bittorrent site for you, I'll post it up, but I don't think that I have it bookmarked coz there weren't too many torrents on there.

mininova.org is a fairly good site, you should check that one out!
