Bugs in basement...

Is there a product that attracts spiders, potato bugs, and earwigs (or at least they look like earwigs)? I don't want a product that kills them when I spray it on them, I want a product that I can put in each room that would attract them and then kill them or I could kill them once they are all attracted to one area. Does such a product exist?

Asking because I have to live in a basement for about 30 days. I had it professionally cleaned from top to bottom but I've seen a few there when I was moving some stuff in today. The basement is absolutely clean and it isn't getting any cleaner.

actually there is some stuff i used cause we had ants and other critters in our old place, it was called ANT-B-GONE, you could get it at TSC here but most likely canadian tire and or walmart. they had another product too by the company that made that and the ant stuff worked good so i am guessing there other product will work just as good.

actually you spray it around window ledges and base boards and its good for like 2 months or so, really, good.

i would say if you need some kinda bug killer other then that stuff, home hardware is the best place they stock alot of bug and insect killers.

good luck hope that'll help ya out.

There is a product that exists, you use to be able to get it at Canadian tire, and some major grocery stores. Its like a little tray with a green light that attracts them to it. Its like super sticky so once they walk on it they die.

I wish I knew the name of it, but such a product DOES exist.

so your in luck, go to the store and look

Try Home Depot, they carry a few more varieties of pest control, and their staff can be knowledgeable. Unfortunately, because you do live a in a basement, it can be damp and that's what attracts the pests

Before I move in, I'll have the dehumidifier going for a few days. I'll leave that thing on full blast for th entire 30 days I'm in there. I'm heading to Home Depot today instead of CT.

I asked for help on an orbit sander, the guy looked at me and said "what is that?"

I said, it is a electrical sander that rotates in circular motion.

He replied "what is that?"

Ya, that thing scares me sometimes, not the fact that it is a bug, but the fact that it blends itself within the vicinity and you don't notice it and suddenly your eye catches it.

That thing can run pretty fast. If we enlarge the size proportionally to human, that thing must be running like 30km/hr.

Moth ***** are actually poisonous to not only bugs, but people as well - when the fumes accumulate in a small space, it can knock you out, potentially killing you...

Dont kill the spiders. They will catch and eat everything else.

Or, get a cat. They will eat anything that moves quickly and attracts their attention.
