burning MP3 CDs
#23
i stand corrected
i now stand corrected, that MP3 car decks will play music data cds... so, if you just simply save all of your Mp3's on a CD, the deck should play them just fine....
in other words....
i was originally under the impression that you should have to select making an actual Mp3 cd, on one of the burning programs, now i realize data mp3 cds work just fine (like on windows media player) i am emberassed i had to ask, but now i know,
i guess windows does do it
i hope this advice is useful to someone else.
thanks!

BTW if you ever want to make a cd-audio disc (non-mp3) but only have mp3s as source, and do not want to pay extra for the Nero plugin, you can use Winamp 5 (Free version) to convert them to WAV files, which Nero will burn without complaining. Simply load winamp, go into options, plugins, output, and select the disk writer. configure it to write the files wherever you want, then press play, and they will be written to HDD in faster-than-realtime.
