I heard that you can only play the Burnd PS2 games that have internet gaming is if you have the Messiah or Apple2 (i got that one) but even then its not a promise

but its worth a try get SOCOM the dvd one for $20 and give it a try
if it works then i'll most likely get it

yeah man i wanna try it so bad
i haven't been able to find a really good online First Person Shooter game like Counter Strike(minus the cheaters now)
and i think that SOCOM might be it
i hate the FPS styles of Quake and Unreal
its to gay
you die and you come back real fast
i like how with CS you have to kill or be killed and then if you die you have to wait till the next round to play again after the mission has been completed or everyone on the other team is dead you know

Plus its more life like no gay rocket launchers be fired at you and you still living you know lol

Guyz...Socom Is A Crazy Game...I Own it....YOu Guyz Should All Buy It And Own It....cause of the online playability....it'z amazing....you can start your own clan....and have clan wars.....it'z a crazy game.....but there are cheaters...cause the game has glitches....that everyone knows about...and you can juss go in the walls...if you hit the right place...and run on the outside permiter of the map...and shoot ppl....cause they can't see you.....but other than that . . .amazing game! played it 2dayz straight when i first got it....and got tired....fell asleep. . .

You have to buy the network adapter....and you need high speed.....so from there it'z self explainator via instructions provided . .

If you guys are serious about going to a internet cafe I got a place nearby pac mall called maxzone and NOW u have to sign up $10 membership but its $1 an hour!!!!



Anyways. It really depends on your modchip. Which one are you getting? I heard there are differnet kinds and some are cheap ones that screw up your ps2.

yeah i asked the guys today at the BEEHIVE and they side it work
just as long as you have the DVD version not the CD and any of the newer mod chips

How much are the new mod chips? And is there any B.S. when loading games with a modded PS2? I heard the memory card has to be angled a certain way you have to load something else first and depending on the gravitational pull of the moon and the velocity of the earth rotation at the equater...............

to my understanding, the new Modchips are basically like "stock" loading

just pop in the burned disc, and your ready to go
no BS with any attachments or disc loaders.

as far as pricing is concerned, im taking a guess, should probably be around 200-250 installed ( which BTW also voids your Sony warranty, some shops may provide you with a shop warranty to compensate )
