Hey Al.. does that mean I shouldn't get some crazy *** phone when I'm in Japan (yes, I know they don't run the same networks), but say I DID find a phone that runs tri-band.. and it was either really cheap compared to here, or it's so new that no one's seen b4... ???

every phone in japan has come out to canada already, go walk around pacificmall you will see at least two stores selling any fone you bring back from japan.

ya.. I know.. I was only dreaming.. but chances are they will be cheaper.. however, I'm worried about warranty issues and stuff.. and even if I save $100 on a phone I dunno if it would be worth it... just incase something does happen with it

when do they ever warranty phones?? almost never... you either drop them and break the screen or they get wet somehow - neither of which they'll warranty. go for it SiR_YO

As for ordering from the States... I do it all the time. It's awesome.

true bb... but I dunno if I wanna spend $600-1000 on a phone down there when my budget for spending is around $2000-2500?? depends if they have some ridiculous deals... and finding tri-band phones down there may be another thing...........

nah downtwon have alot of triband fones for sale,

go take a look at howardforums.com, i guess post in the lounge for more question, if you havent been there its basically one of the most popular cell fone sites, it has all the info you would need about fones heh.


it is alot cheaper there, espcially if you are buying one of the newer fones with all those extra packed features probably $1000 canadian, if you dont like it, and you decide to sell it on howardforum you would evne make some profit

my buddy dropped his phone in the toilet and it got no signal afterwards. He cleaned the yellow stuff off, opened up the phone and diconnected the screen, future **** gave him a brand new phone
