I'm thinking of ordering rims from the States, but hate to have to pay for the outrageous delivery fee, and even more outrageous duty fees.

Is it possible to open up a P.O. box at nearby city (ie - Buffalo, Niagara USA, etc) and have the rims delivered there? Most places seem to offer low or free delievery to USA, so this would suit my needs. Then I can put them on there, and just cross the boarder, duty free.

Would I be able to open a PO Box in USA, as a Canadian Citizen? If so, how much would it be, to recieve & hold 4 sets of rims?

i think the duty works out to about 15%, correct me if i am wrong. (i do know different catorgory have diff % charge) but car parts i think it's around there.

it's possible, my father had one in Rainbow Center (i think that's what they call it) by the Fall. but it seems like a lot of shops or courier services don't deliver to PO boxes. so what are you going to do with the 4 extra rims and tires??? i don't think custom is a department you should mess with. i think they have the power to confiscate your rims, it's up to their discretion. and from what my friend told me, they sometimes put stickers on the items you bring into the US, my friend was pissed when the officier put a sticker on the cone of his sub, so i've seen that sticker.
