oh you won't...

I was more trying to point out, if its just a camera for light usage (one vacation)...I'd try to look for a used one with a good lense/build, not worry about megapixle...

Thats what I did Zyepher - bought my sd630 on ebay and I paid 300 canadian here.. (including shipping and paying duty!) Mind you - I have a us mailbox so shipping is always cheap. Drive over pick it up, declare it.. and thats it.

Wicked camera and excellent features/huge screen size

yah sony is good for quick snaps... really clear too... check this out...


this is original... was not tweaked in photoshop ior anything...

i bought the cam not even a year ago... i remmeber buying it for just over 400

Big LCD screens are nice but....bigger LCD = more battery usage. i usually turn the screen off and snap using the viewfinder and check the image on the screen right thereafter.

new point and shoot screens dont use much battery as a matter of fact many of them dont even have an optical view finder cuz they are damn well useless since they are off centre from the lense and u cant properly fram a picture with them...with new battery technology and low energy consumption lcd technology big *** lcd screens on cameras are a beautiful thing and dont effect battery life...the new cameras with bigger screen have battery life upto double of the older models
