Question Can you feel it?

It is really hard to say just whats happening...

all this stuff going on seen or unseen...

it seems that there is a really high insurge of negative energy hovering around...

i don't about anyone else but i have been really jumpy...

i have been like this for quite awhile now. started at the ending of aug......

so much is happening all over the place, greed, abuse, hatred, .
i know that these things have been around forever....
but it seems to be at a heightened level.......

Naw... it's just that we have the media to tell us about it, but it's always been the same way. Another thing is... say you buy a car... all of a sudden you start noticing everyone and their mom has the same car as you. Reason you didn't notice before is cuz you were not paying attention. It's a cognitive lapse cuz now you are LOOKING for a pattern that was there all along, except now you pay attention to it cuz you've been to too many Sunday schools. Haha, sit back and chill man, whatever is gonna happen is gonna happen. Ain't nuttin you or I can do about it y0! I believe if I'm a decent person - not good... just decent in that I wish no harm upon anyone, I do no one wrong... etc. there is no room for me in hell. I mean, if I get sent to hell for having sex before marriage, well then maybe hell ain't so bad. It's like going to a really bumpin club in downtown toronto - it's hot as hell, and the drinks are expensive, but it's a good time

so will housing prices then too muahahahahaha

anyways whats bad for one person is good for someone else .... the shooting may cause a mad exodus from scarborough butthen because so many people are moving the housing prices will fall and affordable housing will come about for those that want it .... and within toronto city limits .... anyways just my 2 cents

gatherer, high housing prices ensure exclusivity to normal ppl - it's designed to keep white trash and hoodlums out of the neighborhood. Esp in toronto, I'd pay a bit more to ensure the safety of my family and me. Actually, something similar happened to Flint, MI - the whole town became a ghost town after GM shut down operations, ppl just scattered. Homes were way cheap, and there were many abandoned homes. Over the past 5 years its been improving quite a bit, but it was really bad at one point.

hey my house is up for sale!

Big chance this could happen to you when you move in..."The four thugs -- three armed with handguns and a fourth with a shotgun -- forced their way into a townhouse on Tandridge Cres. at 10: 25 p.m."

well it's events like this that will be the reason I only buy brick homes.... the bullet according tot he news cast went through the wall below the window..... ..

BBarbulo your correct but I do believe that housing costs are way over rated ...esspecially in a place like Scarborough where the parents seem to let their kids do as they please and these gangs are the result. (yes I blame the parents)

seriously though scarborough is like Jane and finch of the 80's now ... too many people joining gangs...

anyways dad is seriously considering selling and buying in Guelph. which means cheaper taxes and cheaper property prices and way less crime. why? because Guelph is a small town (well city but it's small) and I think it's the size of the city that determines the crime levels.

Also Bbarbulo I think trash is every color ... just like the office I work in where there is no majority (my department has 7 people and each one is a different race) same with the trash in this country. all races... but it's all a moot point really ... crimials will be crimials

oh yeah, no offense to you white folk LOL you are right that trash comes in every color. Well, in Windsor, the trash is mostly white... being a mostly white town. Just down the street from me I saw two guys just WHAILIN' on each other... some mid-20s guy and some maybe mid-late 50s guy... they musta been drunk. It was like UFC just a block down from my house... I live in the ghetto, you see. But the worst crime here is selling piles of drugs, drunk driving... and mostly stealing my lawnmower LOL

BTW, for all you haters... yes, i'm white too

same here, it's a crap feeling, i have been noticing a whole lot of change to.

but it's the medias fault, just like what bbarbulo said, the more they feed us with this crap, the more paranoid we become.

i'm to the point where i don't even watch the news anymore.

On one level, it is totally a personal feeling of electricity in the air, negative type of energy and a sort of confrontational mood among people.

On another level, on current events. There are some terrible events going. Events in nature (fires, quakes, geo storms) and events among people.

It kind of makes the hair on your arms stand up.

that comes from the inside out, it's a mild form of depression... that's all inside your head. good luck with that LOL Get out, focus on positive things, maybe get some physical activity - work out, join a team, maybe sign up for some workout classes - perhaps even yoga or Pilates. Stop filling your head with crap.

personally I think it's only getting better ... but then again maybe it's because I just reorganized my finances (I'm going to be a rich old man some day) and feel good about the direction my life and finances are heading in.... and my racing now that I've started Go karting every weekend

w3rd gatherer... small adjustments to your lifestyle can make a big difference in how you feel and how you view the world. A healthy body = a healthy mind HAHA I learned that in communist Yugoslavia when I was a kid

Some people have told me that they have been hearing a low frequency sound....a low hum that seems to be deep in their ears....some did have hearing checked, but no abnormalities were found.....

I have this hightened sense of awareness, its at times bothersome...
I try to ignore it but the more I do the more intense it gets...I went to see my doc about it...
he said he has been feeling that way too...& some of his clients...

he offered me tranqs' to dull it....I dont need it dulled, I need to know whats happening.....
