Canada Post

got a question about canada post service.
i sent an item to california via regular ground mail at canada post. they gave me a copy of the reciept and a tracking number but i lost it. is there a way to be able to trace it back somehow to find out if it got delivered? because the place i sent it to said they didnt recieve it and are requesting for the tracking number????

How long ago was this? Ground can take up to 6 weeks.

lost the tracking number???

... i dont' think they have any other way of tracking the parcel or linking it to you other than the tracking number...

make a note from now on to NEVER lose a tracking number again... you slacker!! lol

best bet would be to call and try to find out, sometimes they input the sender's info into the computer...

i don't know what makes them do that tho... calling will prolly be the best option

they should be able to track it thru destination...everything gets scanned these days

if they dont tell you anything (chances are that they wont).....your receiver can call locally and tell they are expecting a package...confirm their destination / address, 'name' as you entered on the form and they will give them all the details.

happened with me once....my sender told me to do this and it worked.
