Me and my friends have this discussion all the time about how many grams you can have on you legally. I heard somewhere if u get caught with under 1g on you the cops cant do anything, ive also heard you can get nabbed for even crumbs ??

I'm sure you are allowed 10 pinners per car, but I would ask a cop first and see what he says to you.

its not legal to have any...its where criminal law comes in where the amount decides whether you get charged with criminal activities
  • for possession of 15 grams or less of marijuana, enough for about 15 or 20 joints, the penalty would be a ticket with a fine of $150 for an adult; $100 for a youth
  • for possession of one gram or less of cannabis resin (hashish), a ticket with a fine of $300 for an adult; $200 for a youth
  • for possession of 15 grams or less of marijuana or one gram or less of cannabis resin where aggravating factors exist, a fine of $400 for an adult and $250 for a youth. Aggravating factors include possession while committing an indictable offence, operating a motor vehicle, and on or near school grounds.
  • for possession of from 15 grams to 30 grams of marijuana, the police would have the discretion to give a ticket or issue a criminal court summons. The ticket would be $300 for an adult and $200 for a youth. The summary conviction penalty would be up to six months in prison and/or a fine of up to $1,000.

there is also the hot box cafe on kensington market.

they don't let you smoke cigarettes or cigars but you can smoke a joint.

i would like to go and smoke a nice robusto, and see them stop me. call the cops.

unfortunately, i have better things to do with my time.

you can buy weed at roach-a-rama as well.

it's not in hiding, and it's well known, yet cops do nothing about it.

they maybe supply the store as a side job.

people can barely handle the recreational drugs/intoxicants they have legal today (alcohol), do you really think the government needs to legitimize another one?

keep it illegal until the average person stops acting like a ****ing moron (so never)...

I think if they can keep cigs legal then why not pot? they could tax the heck outta it, farmers could grow it to make up for lack of sales growing other things, thanks to the frozen food section. that would also give the government control over the stuff, and what goes into it. combine that with stiffer laws and more attention on real drugs. I mean some people will tell you that it's a gateway drug. I think that's bs. I love booze but I can honestly say it's caused me a lot more trouble in life then pot did, and when I quit smokin I saved enough money in 3 months to buy a car. As for nice drunks... when's the last time a guy went home all high on pot and beat his wife? when I'm drunk, I'm ***** out. when I'm high I don't do anything wrong. Cuz when you do you think everyones a cop!
