These are the new homes in Maple, nice but fkd up, some houses are big but 2 garage,in stead of 3 garage, some are tiny with 2 garages, some are the size of two garage homes but have one garage.lol we noticed that in this community.

lucky, its also because its snowing, when its not snowing thats when they do the bs plate thing.

I think what he's trying to say, and I know this cause I've done this to a commercial piece of property I have downtown is to widen your driveway...even tho you only have a one car garage and a 3 car length driveway, you can widen the driveway to fit 5-6 cars depending on the frontage of your house (maybe the front of the house has steps or something that pertrude out). It is possible. You just have to get permits to widen the driveway is all.

I live in Maple too. I'm pretty sure I know where you live. NW corner of Major Mack and Jane?? just taking a guess. I said you could widen your driveway. Even if you have a one car garage, you can still widen it. There's enough room to widen it to fit 2 cars side by side.

I don't know about the laws being more stringent or cops pulling people more often. I never get pulled over and I don't have a front license plate, my tints are too dark, and today my car was snow covered.

I think it must be something you have that makes cops pull you over more.

You'll get pulled for having no front plate sooner or later. As for the tints, I would say it depends on the cop, even though there are laws regarding this.

Hey, when you get pulled over, you can start a thread like this too.

I know about the front plate and I wanted to install it for the longest time, but my problem is time, or should I say lack thereof.

As for the tint, I had 20% tint on my old car, just like I have on this one, and in 10 years I have not been pulled over not even once.

i know what you mean, we did think of that, but we were turned down, because the city or people said, your front main door steps stick out, and you have a gas line, and no cable system undeground so you'll loose house value, and because the owners we bought the home from we cheap they didn't want to do it, but we had no choice we already moved in, and sold the old house.

I'll be getting a street parking permit, if i can.

no its not in the jane Area, much more further East North.

When I use to live in East York many years ago, I was in a bachelors apartment and had to park on the street. So I got a permit. All is good right? Well, what would happen is, people without a permit would take up all the spots on the street and I would have to park in a zone where no matter what, inclucing a permit, you were not allowed to park. I would get tickets and have to fight them and win all the time because of this fact. It pissed me off because none of the cars that had no permits were still there and no ticket.

THANK YOU!!!!!

thats so right, its like they pick on who to ticket. when our neighbours friends come we have to park 2 cars, outside the neighbourhood, and the snow we get its a B%^&, some of them leave 2am, so comming tired from work parking far, and watching no one else takes our spot, we have to keep checking outside, F's up the weekend, and now its tickets galore.

i wouldn't even mind getting a scooter, but lol, it snows so much here, i can't even get an alternate transportation.

i had 450bucks in parking tickets for parking on my street in oakville...so I would watch and play games with the ticket guy...my window faced the street and my car so I could see him mark it, I would go out and move it a foot and go back inside...then he would come back and so on...then I told him off and all the neighbours came out and started telling him off too...he didnt come back for a few months.

in most residential especially "higher end" communities there are no street parking permits at all since cars parked on the street make the neighbourhood look cheap.
