Casino
I'm heading to the Casino Rama this weekend with a few friends and was wonderin' what game station you guys camp out in front of when you're at a casino? I'm usually at the Black Jack table and if I have some coin left over when I loose at the table, I go to the quarter slots.

the only difference between
Poker
vs
table games
...................
poker you're playing against other players (higher % of winning)
vs
table games you're playing against the house (low % of winning)
thats the only reason i sit at the holdem tables, i've made money playing against amateurs who think they can play and just keep buying in and losing more and more money.
last time i went, a guy had been there for 21 hours and had lost over 7K playing 1/2 blinds 100min buy-in/200max buy-in....... thats absoloutely horrible...

i see we don't have very many mathematicians here.
if you play blackjack perfectly, without counting, your odds of winning are higher than any other game against the casino.
By perfect, I mean following the set of rules of when to bet, when to draw, when to stand. You should never go by your feeling or what you think, if all you care about is winning.
Roulette has the worst odds of all casino games against the house, assuming you play all games perfectly (which is never the case)
Roulette also gives you very good odds if you have no idea how to play any casino games.
---
The most important thing however, there is no such thing at a casino as 50/50 odds.
I spend money on roulette when I go, because I like to drink, not think, and bet on things like '33' for jesus
betting on black gives you a pay out of 1:1 while the chance of winning is 0.47368%
38 numbers, 18 black, 18 red, 2 green. The green is what kills the odds.
I play on the inside, it's the same bullsht, but I find it keeps me occupied the longest while I wait for the idiots to lose their money. (45% of your friends will win and you'll not think of the people that lost money, but the people that won more, which adds to the appeal)
the odds are actually very good for you, but they're ALWAYS less than 50%
