Considering the bullshit a PM goes through $150,000 CDN is peanuts..

He would be making more if a private individual..

As far as the jets go, its an executive perk...

Happens all the time..

My question is what other news can the media feed us now to divert from the question..

"Where is Osama?"

i'll take the job w/o the perks and do it for $100,000
it's not the amount that bothers me so much as the lack of consideration for the average man that pisses me off..

and Osama is still well within the minds of people everywhere..

hahah osama is probably hanging out at one of bush jr's country homes.... the bin laden and bush families go way back.... funny how bush is so against terrorists but has no problem accepting many millions back in the early 70's to start up his oil company from a ********* ie bin laden....

It's amazing how large events always happen just before election time.
Saddam is having an international trial to be more on the "fair" side I guess.
Did anyone see how the new Canadian PM was acting? It's almost the total opposite of Cretien (sp).
He congratulated the US on their capture and gave them Canada's support, so I guess were not so neutral anymore. If US goes down now, were goin down with them.

Do you know why it took the USA some time, before they told the rest of the world that they had caught him?

Easy..... they were waiting for the DNA tests to return. They came back positive.

They caught him because he was staying with relatives, and one of them finally squelled. I wonder if that person will get part of the reward money?

I wonder what made them give him up?

Saddy!!, How many times have I told you to put the toilet seat down after you are done!! That's it.....I'm calling Bush!

Well this is all I could watch today except the new simpsons xmas special (which was pretty good imo) cause it was running on every station. It looks like him, and where they caught him and how he was hiding makes me think it is the real Saddam, he couldnt hid forever, give him some applause for hiding this long! Its been like 8 months or so. Their intelligence from the iraqi's was getting better and better, so it was only a matter of time, that family member who ratted him out is gonna get even more money now lol.

Funny thing was on al-jazeera they aired the story as a little new break item, not like the major coverage here, go figure eh? Those al-jazeera bastards remind me of CNN They're both pretty bad at spreading propoganda, but whatever, either way its a massive boost for the moral to both the Iraqi's who can finally get some justice from the man who killed 100,000s of members of their families, and the US who can now prove that they can actually accomplish something they set out to do. (cept maybe capture bin laden, but we all know that wont happen)

Sometimes words can come back to haunt you.

The only way they won't catch Binny, is if the guy is already dead.

i wouldn't nessessarily agree with that.... they've been "searching" for him for over 3 years now... and nothing... saddam has been on the run for 8 months.... the family ties just make me wonder....

but also bush has now killed over 400 of his own troops just to get his oil for cheaper... did you know he owns a fairly large oil company?? maybe i should become the premier of ontario and make the car insurance public so i only have to pay $500 a year like people in bc... hmmmmm

Well like Shazza said, it's possible that this was just an american ploy. You gotta remember, Saddam had 9 Duplicates! American's are starting to look really bad in Iraq and it's almost like this "saddam captured" event came at the perfect time. DNA tests don't mean anything unless your the one doing it yourself or witnessing it being done.. anything can be said with that! Maybe this was all a ploy to try and ease tension on the situation.. Now that "SADDAM" is captured, it doens't look like the american's wasted everything... The world can relax a little because something has come out of it. ... On the other hand, hey maybe they did catch the REAL saddam and the US is NOT lying..
