CBC specials

OK...

Apparently your tax dollars pay for it, but does anyone actually watch CBC specials or sitcoms?

I sure as hell won't be watching "Little Mosque on The Prairie".

Who comes up with this crap?

funny?

does this make you laugh?

ha ha funny or queer funny?

do you relate to this guy?

clever or just an *******?

the only thing funny about this man is his face?

mmmmmmmmmmmm.....

who follows this when you can watch UFC?

Maybe if we can all complain together, I can forward our criticisms to the unionized people at CBC. Together we can make a difference!

what are you expecting the unionized folk at CBC to do??
what power do you think they might have??
they're paid to run cameras, lights, stage sets, boards etc etc...
they don't do the programming
that job would belong to the white-collared maroons behind the desks

You make a good point, but I believe that CBC actors/actresses are also unionized. This in my opinion is why we keep seeing the same talent over again. Well "talent" is not the right word.

The point is that the acting roles should be determined by skill not union seniority or however they chose them. I can't think of a better reason to explain why CBC specials are so awful.

This is the same CBC that wanted to get rid of Don Cherry because they didn't think he fit "the image".

You are right though - certainly bad programming.
