Go with Telus, I've been with him for 3-4 years now and no problems whatsoever.

Telus is Friggin Amazingly Great!...i was with them my whole high school career....loved them..........customer service was amazing!!!!

i just recently got a cell for my b-day, and i went with Bell
Bells Customer service is dog ****. . .pure crap....no if or and's about it.....if i wasn't on an attached plan. . .i'd switch in a heartbeat. They give u such a tough time, because they know they don't need ur business, cause they have more then enough ppl with them.

telus had the worst custy service ever and I have been with every cell phone provider in canada...fido had the best service (gotta love them and their french accents), bell and rogers are second and then there is telus...I would never ever go back to them...terrible service both customer wise and signal wise...not to mention they lock out their phones to the max so u have to use their services only

oh no no.....well it's true everyone has their own stories. . . i loved telus when i was with them. . .

bell is a friggin hassle man...BoOoOoo....lol

never been with fido ever....or rogers....lol so no comment. .
signals were not an issue with me when i was with Telus always had one....

Bell has a strong signal everywhere that'z one good thing.....but i've gotten a couple of dropped calls. . but i got that with telus too...more so then bell. . .

It's all about customer service for me...as my decider...LOL if i have a bad experince with a company....i'll tell them to go **** themselves...and cancel all my services with them. . .LOL

They were going to get me a pager but I made them aware of the fact I won't be able to call in an emergency if I have no phone...
If I get the job at Research in Motion they're giving me a $400 blackberry and paying for the service :P

I tried to keep it simple, theres far too many reasons. They're over priced, also claim to have the best network yet, since Ive switched to Telus my phone has dramatically better reception, and Im not paying extra for anything that bell likes to nail you for IE: call display, message center, call waiting... I got them at no extra cost while on bell it would cost you $12 monthly.

My friend also works at Unigistics(the company where they package/prepare the phones) and told me even her BOSS doesnt recommend the phones because they arent good quality and there's a lot of defects.
My first bell flip phone, the audiovox 8500 had to be returned numerous times because when you flipped it open sometimes the display on the screen would be backwards, the reception was disgustingly poor, and the battery died quickly. I had to wait for the 8600 to come out and it was slightly better for reception, the best bell phone Ive owned (Ive had 4) but doesnt have **** on my new telus phone.
I also had the LG phone Bell put out, with the green backlight (doesnt have an outer screen). It was ok, but the contrast f*cks up when you turn it off and then back on, it will be either too dark or too light and you have to keep changing it, so I also got rid of that.

Either way the best bell phone Ive had doesnt even compare to the worst cheapest telus phone Ive used.

It also pisses me off when I call bell customer service and you cant even speak to an English speaking representative, they are impossible to understand with their accents, and sometimes forget to speak English and start babbling on in French.(this has happened too often)

Hm more reasons? I have missed SO many calls with my bell phones, I mean it doesnt even ring sometimes because it has no signal.

ay ay well not everyones rich like you!
I wanted the first audiovox one cuz it had this cute little clown that dances when you turn it on and off!! and I loved how it changed a different colour every time you flip it...
the only reason I got the other ones is because I HAD to get rid of that one cuz it did NOT work, I had the LG until the 8600 came out, I got the 8600 the day it was in stores... thinking it would be better...
either way the phones I got were expensive enough $200 is a lot of money when you're a student, you shouldnt have to pay $400 to obtain a phone with decent reception.

Either way Im paying them $10 a month to keep my old phone suspended for the next year until the contract runs out, rather than pay $200 for them to cut the phone off completely.

hm... I heard rogers wasnt good because they were changing their networks from pcs to gps or something like that (really dont know what Im talking about). Either way Ive had no desire to own one of their phones, they dont even look nice and Ive never heard anything wonderful about them. Plus they give you ugly phone numbers with stupid area codes (289)
when I had a (289) area code everyone was scared to call me cuz they thought it was long distance.

I love telus in Hamilton because I have an (905) 818-**** number, its so easy for people to remember, and they let me pick my last 4 digits myself 8)

Well Jen I'm sorry to hear about your experience yes you did get the worst phones ever... anyone that sees me at the meets sees the clunker of a phone I carry around. anyways flip phjone in general do not have the life expectance of other phones the reason is for the wires that have to cross between each half of the phone.

serious if you get a phone from Bell get a samsung they are the best they have at the moment...

as for coverage area it is a well known fact that in Ontario Bell has the best coverage however in Alberta and BC telus has the best coverage. in Alberta and BC Bell uses Telus' network in areas where bell's isn't set up and in Ontario Telus does the same thing.. so while you think that telus phoen is so great your still paying my salary whatever not like I care...

Joker,

PM me with your location and Cell phone number I'll do some triangulation (with your permission of course) and send an email to the network performance department (I know some guys there) hopefully I can help you out

I'm with bell, $48 per month + $6.95 system access fee, 250 anytime minutes, no long distance in Canada, call waiting, call display, message centre.

No problems with service area.

However, I've been waiting on there call assistance for 25 minutes already, and all I want to do is pay the f***ing bill, but I want to know why they changed the account # and whether this # is what it should show on my online banking

rogers has "mad seeg" as the rogers ppl call it, now that the 850band has been implimented rogers 850 phones get reception where other carriers cant (basments, fringe areas etc.)

not to mention GSM is the best way to go cuz you can use any gsm handset available world wide which means cooler phones than the cdma carriers (bellus)
