Question Cheap Flights

so last night me and my roomates decided for reading week we want to go down to my place in florida. today we were looking for flights and cant seem to find anything for under 500$ does anyone know any airlines that are relatively cheap? i checked air canada tango, delta, continnential, and air transat but i cant think of any other ones that would be cheap, any ideas?

(we would be flying into Fort Myers)

Ya, my girlfriend works for westjet... just got back from Vegas for $63 return. I would have thought flying from Buffalo would be decent.

yup thats correct, My neighbours, one works in maintance and the other one, I dont know what she works in there, but something in the the shop.. not very high up at all..
They work for Air Canada... They can hook up whoever.. They get to fly for next to nothing, and you get something like 50% off, I dont remember the number..
The only problem is they have to be flying I believe, but im not sure on that either, I didnt ask about it to much..

flights are not cheap anymore people are not afraid to fly. Goodluck, wait last minute but don't be surprised if you don't go.

I'm thinking either NYC or Montreal road trip for me

If you standby, meaning you are desprate for tickets, so the price isn't going to be cheap.

Last minute cheap tickets should be offer from group flights no? So the airline doesn't fly a plane with too many empty spaces.

When we went back home last October, we were offered 400 dollars each if we would gave up our tickets. In return, we could get a free Sheridan hotel stay, and fly out the next day. But we refused cause we had a schedule to keep. But I would imagine the other two travelers would have paid more for our tickets?

Anyway, that's what I thought.

http://www.jetradar.com is the only place I go to search flights now, after consistently finding them to find the best deals. They don't 'promote' any particular airline, but are totally transparent, plus they include the extra fees and taxes that you know you have to pay but many other 'comparison' sites leave off. This is helpful, as you can make a fair assessment of which is the best price.
