Go to a mall. They have those phone cards sitting around in machines. I think that would be your best bet. Or you could go to a variety store or something like that and see all the different companies. Then again variety stores usually rip you off.

If you live in Toronto, head down to Chinatown. They sell them below face value and you can shop around.

But, I gotta agree with bbarbulo, MSN works pretty good. I do this. I also, invested in a headset and it is great. I get cut off sometimes and it is choppy but you can't beat free. My GF is in Japan so, it makes it worthwhile for me to live with these idiosyncrasies.

that company that ran the labatt blue line still keeps the lines open... $20 for a year of unlimited long distance... its limited to the same range as the blue line had but for the most part it'll do the job...

My parents and I have been using First calling cards for about 3-4 years now. No complaints at all, cheap too.

Internet based long distance stuff is probably gonna be your cheapest bet!! If it isn't free like MSN or something, then there's just a small initial payment to buy a dedicated program that'll do it.

CiCi is good overall. But make sure you check all phone cards because it totally depends on the location you are dialing to, each one of them have different prices. Just go to those place where sell the phone cards, and check each single phone card posters.
