Cheap places for RAM and HDs
I'm looking for any shops around the GTA that sell...
RAM (256mb, 512mb)
Hard drives (50-80 gigs, or 100+)
...for cheap!
List some shops and prices please!

I found another store in the Toronto Computer paper that was slightly cheaper than ICCT as well. But since they indicate that they will beat any advertised price, I'll give them a try.
Do you have to be asian to get good prices at U Computer?
I heard of white dudes getting fucked up the *** with prices in places like Pac mall.

U Computer is @ Kennedy & Sheppard. Let me get you their number. I always order from there. CHEAPEST prices anywhere.
You don't have to be asian to get the cheapest prices there. I ordered everything on the phone and they couldn't tell I'm asian.. and they still gave me the cheapest prices.
If you want.. I'll even order it for you if you want. I'll go in and speak chinese

OK. Since I will be buying a machine very soon, I was looking for the best possible prices for all the hardware. One store stood out above the rest.
Unfortunately I don't remember the name of it. I have it at home, and will let you know later on today.
They have a website too, so you can check the prices on there.
2.53GHz P4 @533MHz for $219.
512 GB RAM @333mHz for $78 or so.
60GB WesternDigital HD w/2MB for $109 or so.
These prices are off the top of my head, so they might be off a little bit.
ICCT is OK for some things. (icct.com)
and so is AG Computers. (www.buyon.ca)
EDIT: I called U Computer. I didn't understand a word the guy was saying until he let me speak to someone else.
Their prices are OK compared to alot of other shops, but still not the lowest possible.
