Get multiple qoutes , ask them for references of other roofs they've done, Sometimes cheap doesn't mean ya had a proper job. See if you can look online for some kind of guidance for what should be done when you get your roof done.Try the holmes on homes site. good info on there

Theres no such thing as good work for a cheap price in the roofing business, u get what you pay for,
i can give you the number of a good roofer who get the job done once and done right if you want?
Im assuming this is a house with shingles??

Make sure you ask what there going to do for the price they quote. That way when you get other quotes ya can compare what there doing for the price. ie: rotted wood replacment, ice barrier,type of shingle etc
