it should be easy to check if it's real... if he ever made any mention of his age, then we can check birth records to see if a John Titor was born in the correct year, so we would know if he exists to begin with.

In reading everything you'd know that no way he'd use his real name, otherwise it could jeopordize his existance in the future, which was one of the things he stated that he wouldnt disclose.
It's probably BS.

Do people know where you are? Can you communicate with your home?
No. They do not know where I am and I cannot communicate with them. Interesting idea though. From their point of view, I will return almost exactly at the same moment I left. From their viewpoint, I will only have aged more than expected.

PAST FUTURE PREDICTIONS ARE EASY....
did you know that in 1999 I predicted that one day I would find this website.....
see it's so easy to say that in the past you saw the future because it's actually already the past... it's a technique used to gain trust in abilities...

I've been reading this, and it's very humbling.... absolutely blows my mind!!!
reasons why I think it's not fake:
1. the guy doesn't try to impress the readers at all, he straight up tells you if he doesn't know WTF you are talking about.
2. his mentality is not aligned with ours - his way of thinking is simple... material things do not interest him, in fact our materialistic way of life disgusts him
3. his choice of food is unreal for our time. IMO if a person now was fabricating this story, I would think he'd want to impress us with something like food in a pill, or genetiacally modified foods or something stupid - he straight up says that they eat farm fresh produce.
4. he makes ONE crucial prediction for 2004. let's sit tight and see what happens.... I'm fascinated by this, and soon enough I'll know.
5. another benefit is that his specialty is history... his insight into this subject is quite key to his credibility. I'm sure he didn't predict things like 9-11 and whatnot simply because they are SO INSIGNIFICANT on a global scale, but check this out:

Does the current relationship between Arabs and Jews have anything to do with the coming war?
Real disruptions in world events begin with the destabilization of the West as a result of degrading US foreign policy and consistency. This becomes apparent around 2004 as civil unrest develops near the next presidential election. The Jewish population in Israel is not prepared for a true offensive war. They are prepared for the ultimate defense. Wavering western support for Israel is what gives Israel's neighbors the confidence to attack. The last resort for a defensive Israel and its offensive Arab neighbors is to use weapons of mass destruction. In the grand scheme of things, the war in the Middle East is a part of what's to come, not the cause.

Can you tell us the foods that are unsafe now? Is there anything we can do to prepare for the war you are describing?
(40) I tried to consolidate your questions into a basic list. I hope this helps.
1. Do not eat or use products from any animal that is fed and eats parts of its own dead.
2. Do not kiss or have intimate relations with anyone you do not know.
3. Learn basic sanitation and water purification.
4. Be comfortable around firearms. Learn to shoot and clean a gun.
5. Get a good first aid kit and learn to use it.
6. Find 5 people within 100 miles that you trust with your life and stay in contact with them.
7. Get a copy of the US Constitution and read it.
8. Eat less.
9. Get a bicycle and two sets of spare tires. Ride it 10 miles a week.
10. Consider what you would bring with you if you had to leave your home in 10 min. and never return.

Very, very interesting.
Considering I come from a religious background (christian) I found it interesting that he said Jesus had not returned for his second coming yet by the year 2036 ***that he was aware of
I personally think that the war that wiped out billions of people was something to do with the second coming of jesus, it is probably a cover up that the remaining people are told and like to believe to make themselves feel secure.
I have no idea whether to believe this or not. To make all of this up, someone would have had to be very smart and imaginative, and also had lots of time on their hands. But then again, there are a lot of weirdos out there these days.

Pretty interesting stuff! I guess we'll see if any of this stuff is true by seeing if the Jews/Arabs thing flares up in 2004! It'd be pretty freaky if it does!!

but DO read things with an open mind... plus phychos that do make up **** like this can't stay away
I mean, he would not have just disappeared after a set amount of time cuz it becomes like an addiction in a sense for them, they crave the recognition or the satisfaction of fooling a bunch of ppl or answering questions in a way to outsmart the readers. This particular case doesn't seem to match the normal profile of some *** who makes **** up on the net.
Same goes for forum frequenters like myself... I enjoy helping ppl with their problems as best as I can, I enjoy the satisfaction of helping out those who can use my help, and in a way it's somewhat of an addiction you could say. Even if I went away for a few months, I'd likely come back. This guy hasn't come back...
But that aside, you have to make room in your mind for the possibility of it happening (time travel), and then you also have to in fact accept that if it did happen, the possibility of them making contact like this individual has. So in reality, it's pretty hard to accept something like this at face value, but you SHOULD look at it with healthy scepticism. The tough part is, what amount of scepticism is healthy. I can't dismiss this right away, I read up on the site.... and so far I haven't come across anything that has enabled me to dismiss it outright. As a result, I'm inclined to accept the possibility of this person's claims being true. And even if it's not true, it's certainly WAY better than reading a novel or watching the three parts of the Matrix It really gets you thinking if nothning more. I mean, as an individual, there is NOTHING I can do about the events that he claims will take place, so I'm just along for the ride. Certainly if it turns out he's correct in his statement, it would alter my way of thinking.

I'd like someone to prove it wrong, give me concrete proof that it can not be done, that'd be a good read as well.
Imagine if it were possible to travel through time.
Although, this story certainly seems like an episode from the old TV series Quantum Leap.

Alot of effort none the less. Although, many of his answers were ambigious at best. Many other answers were just rewording what was already stated.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO............
Who here is waiting to see what will happen in 2005? Oh yeah, that's right, nothing may happen at all in this "Worldline". LOL
Almost like stopping in and talking to a fortunteller @ the CNE.
" Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm sensing that you are questioning things."
LOL
