I think the purpose of makeup is to enhance natural beauty, not create it. If just a little bit of makeup isn't going to enhance that, then extra layers is not going to, either.
A woman can minimize her lesser appealing features by the skillful use of even minimal cosmetics.
It depends a lot on the woman and her level of confidence--some makeup may necessary, but less is definitely better than more.

Anyone see that magazine (really not sure which one, just that i had to take a peek inside when i saw it in line at the grocery store) where they were showing a few celebs without makeup?
it's really telling.. so many celebrity chicks are just plain women without their expensive hair and makeup stuff.
So give a chance to some plain looking girls, especially if they turn out to be a freak in bed. Get them some basic cosmetology lessons and they will be stunning! ;P Just as long as they don't overdo it.
