UFC fights are also a little bit more abusive on the body because its real. Whereas WWE is mostly fake therefore then can do it more often. So Shamrock will only have a total yearly earnings of a couple mil which is extremely high for a UFC fight and a WWE fight on average makes way more than a mil a season.

Back on Topic... the crippler was amazing and now hes a piece of **** and doesn't deserve to be burried in the ground he once walked on. He did great things but its all overshawdowed by this cowardly act that put a period on his life.
You are quite mistaken..

First off, your talking about the wrong Shamrock. Ken Shamrock went to WWE then came back to UFC. Frank Shamrock left UFC after he beat Tito Ortiz and never came back. At this time Frank went and faught in other promotions until 2003. It was at this time that he "Retired" but came back in 2006. He did not retrun to UFC, he faught Cesar Gracie at strike force.
This has nothing to do with Dana, as Frank will not deal business with him anyway.
Shamrock vs Baroni happened in StrikeForce not UFC and therefore had nothing to do with Dana offering anything.
I just think your talking about Ken, and not Frank...but then Ken never faught Baroni, so Im not sure. BTW this is Frank's second fight this year and will likely have 2 more this year but at least 1.

About pay, in general I would say wrestlers make more than UFC/MMA fighters but not all the time. And WWE fighters do not make way more than a Mil a season. Some do.. some dont.

Frank Shamrock (not the highest paid) made 1.3 Million plus bonuses (PPV buys, cash bonus) for this fight alone, he had one fight previous and has 2 more coming. Lets say he makes around what? 3 Mil this year? Plus he runs his own gym and merchandise.

lets just look at some WWE pay scales for 06.. now these people get a cut on merchandise sales but not ppv buys.

Ashley Massaro: $131,000
Batista: $813,000
Big Show: $1,000,000
Bob Holly: $217,000
Booker T: $375,000
Candice Michelle: $64,000
Carlito: $319,000
Chavo Guerrero: $206,000
Chris Benoit: $488,000
Chris Masters: $253,000
Christian - $396,000
Danny Basham: $130,000
Doug Basham: $126,000
Eddie Guerrero: $372,000
Edge: $704,000
Eugene: $189,000
Funaki: $124,000
Gene Snitsky: $292,000
Gregory Helms: $277,000
John Cena: $1,743,000

John Layfield: $786,000
Jerry Lawler: $204,000

Jillian Hall: $52,000
Joey Mercury: $134,000
Johnny Nitro: $143,000
Jonathan Coachman: $175,000
Kane: $ 851,000)
Ken Kennedy: $133,000
Kid Kash: $62,000
Kurt Angle: $1,023,000
Lance Cade: $118,000
Lilian Garcia: $90,000
Lita: $286,000

Maria: $41,000
Mark Henry: $300,000
Matt Hardy: $322,000
Matt Striker: $43,000
Melina: $155,000
Mickie James: $72,000
Nunzio: $186,000
Orlando Jordan: $145,000
Paul London: $177,000
Psicosis: $122,000
Randy Orton: $711,000
Rene Dupree: $289,000
Rey Mysterio: $414,000
Ric Flair: $508,000
Rob Conway: $186,000
Rob Van Dam: $220,000
Rosie: $105,000
Shawn Michaels: $1,045,000
Shelton Benjamin: $366,000
Simon Dean: $132,000
Stacy Keibler: $178,000
Steven Richards: $94,000
Torrie Wilson: $260,000
Trevor Murdoch: $48,000
Triple H: $2,013,000
Trish Stratus: $618,000

Tyson Tomko: $127,000
Undertaker: $1,811,000

Val Venis: $210,000
Victoria: $275,000
Viscera: $130,000
William Regal: $225,000
So it is kind of iffy.. Some WWE wrestlers would make more and some MMA fighters work more.

And I agree about Benoit.. it is pretty sick to do.

wow you just skooled my *** with facts! lol
but yeah I was confused with the shamrocks... as for the ppv and the merchandise I was including that in the wwe pay because they still have to claim it... so those figures are low becuase of the cuts. The merchandise and PPV actually makes way more than just pay alone.

^ yeah I am with him... it also lists Benoit as $488,000 but when his wife filed for divorce in 2003 she claim he made well over 500g salary which doesnt include merchandise and PPV earnings.

i don't understand the terms coward and gutless being applied to this.

i would say crazy, evil, violent, unnecessary, psyocpath, sick, ill, immoral, but gutless and cowardly? how so?

you expect him to offer a pistol or sword and have challeneged them to a duel?

gut·less /ˈgʌtlɪs/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[guht-lis] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

They describe him pretty well I think!
Tied up his wife and did his son while sleeping..... I think all yours fit the man too but these 2 definitions sum him and the situation up pretty well once you look up what they mean.

james, how?

maybe he was determined to kill his family and himself due to some terrible secret they shared?

suicide or murder does not automatically make you a coward..

Could have been 05 then. And like I said, that is not all the money they make, just their salaries. They also make money from other things such as merchandise etc..

BTW, I think you just had your shamrocks confused.. lol they look alike so I could see why. (Even though they arent real brothers, they look alike..wierd.)

^I already agree with you and said I got them confused in an earlier post! lol

Bruce, suicide doesn't automatically make you a coward but the way he did it, why he did it definitely does! He was injecting his son with steroids because they thought he was small. Thanks fecked. You know roids had something to do with it because they make you paranoid, agressive, depressed... etc and with all the options and funds available to get help he took the weak mans way out and brought innocent people with him. Thats what makes him a coward and gutless.
Take your own life if you have to not others.
Plus there is a lot of poeple who would classify suicide in general as a cowardly act.

Benoit strangled his wife, suffocated his 7-year-old son and placed a Bible next to their bodies before hanging himself with a weight-machine pulley

Cnn.com and nbc were saying his son has injection marks from having growth hormones injected in him due to his dwarf size.
