Christmas Carolls
I've been at work since 7:30 this morning, and there has been Christmas Carolls on the Radio all morning. It's making me crazy. Do you think If I told them I was Jewish they would turn them off. I can't take it any more. It's friggin November why do they need to play this crap all day. They are going to be in my head all weekend now, I'm probably gonna start humming them to my self at random times over the next 2 days. AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. Please make it stop.

I hate Christmas with a passion. I'm a jew and should not be subjected to having the commercialized idea of christmas rammed down my friggin throat for at least 2 months out of the year. I'm pretty much pissed from late October to mid January. BAH HUMBUG!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see 8 Crazy Nights.

From a non-arsehole perspective, this season is a major boost in the economy. The amount of spending that goes on during christmas and the rest of the holiday season reflects consumer confidence, and that affects future investment. So indirectly, our X-mas shopping determines whether you get a job or how much money is lent out, or what the interest rates will be next year, how the stock market is gonna do, and so on. (I have a degree in Economics) So to all the haters who say "**** X-mas", I say be thankful for the bounty that has been bestowed upon you by the Lord our shepard.
Pretty good for someone who's never been to church, huh?

Pretty good, but I still hate Xmas. One bit of advice, don't get started with a jew when Israel is mentioned. Not a good idea.
I'm not religious either, but I'm just sick of seeing the commercialness of it all every year. It's not even about the good things anymore. Like how many kids get screwed over or feel the odd man out cause they're from a poor family, or don't even have one.
But yeah I've hated it all since I was a little kid. I think it's cause once the mall santa didn't give me a candy cane after I told him "I'm jewish, I don't celebrate christmas". ******* bastard only gave me a crayon haha. It's funny but **** like that really scars little kids.

Argh I can't take the christmas carols either, We play em at zellers all day, 7 hours of it a day make you go nuts, luckily I only work 2 days a week. But what the hells the deal with them saying we should say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas? Its Christmas Time dammit, not Holiday Time...

I think it's great for children. It's also great for getting together with friends and loved ones that you don't see too often.
I don't mind the Christmas carols at all. I've heard them a billion times. Damn, I used to work at Toys R Us for cryin' out loud!
What really annoys me is the arrogance and impatience of a lot of people in the stores and parking lots this time of year. I think that's the root of the bitterness towards Christmas - especially when you have to deal with these type of people as customers.

Yes, money is a big part of it...there is a lot of spending that goes on, but it's the indicator part of it that determines the next year.
