Civic Type R test drive review "Piston Heads.com"

I found this acrticle abit discourageing, but then i remembered the guy who wrote this article test drives super cars for a living. There is some truth to it tho.

I would say that this guys expectations were a little to high! That comment about having trouble passing a minivan can't be true... My B16 has no trouble in such a manouver so i can't see an ep3 having any difficulty.

hey i dont care at it is saying about the sir but wen u get a 4 banger to be a 8.6 sec. car that is very impressive i dont think that the splitfire civic would have any pb passing a mini van

Personally i'm not a big fan of this car. I find it almost looking like a cut off van. Like 1/2 of one. BUt the engine isnt bad.

dude dont compare splitfire to this article.

for a 4banger to run that fast how much money is into it.

your not even making any sense.

besides you or i can never have a 8sec 4 banger unless were sitting on some serious cash.

this article is comparing a stock car to what the media is saying.


the Type R is a sweet car because were all into honda/acura

but the moment u get yourself in a BMW or even a Nissan opinions will change.

point here Splitfire is beyond our reach. theydont even pay for half the **** they have. but thats a total seperate topic that i dont want to get into.

i agree with the article the car is overated.
