Coasters

I would like to thank the inventor of cardboard, pressed paper etc bar style coasters for keeping my shirt and pants dry from the sweaty condensation from cold alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages...for this I salute you

My thanks to Alexander Graham Bell for the telephone, which eventually led to the cell phone, thereby making text messaging possible. w00t! for Mr. Bell getting the ball rolling!

Oh ya, and coasters ARE a great invention too, Matt. =)

were they crystal or something? those are only good for wine and other stemware or for purely protecting tables from water rings but serve no purpose in avoiding sweaty condensation

I have a collection of full bottles of beer from around the world. I also had a collection of rum but I drank that one night so that collection stopped.

But the beer collection is still going !
