ok then, you take a week off from school and use that time instead. if anyone asks you after that week where you've been, say community service beeyotch!
our school system is totally ghay BTW. it produces a pile of 'average'. anyone who has any potential enters the melting pot of school and becomes average. sad indeed.
or if you're too soft to just take a week off school, forge a letter and hand it in. if you get caught, what are they gonna do, sue you?

what has our world come to when a bunch of people are sitting around thinking "how can I help the less fortunate out AS LITTLE as possible to get me by" for shame!

I had to do that ish in college. Did mine at a hospital.
Pretty easy...
Try calling some community centres or something, see if they need help.
Although hospitals always need free help so that would be an easy way....
What else, oh old folks homes are always looking for volunteers.

ok then, what has this world come to when you have to spend 40 hrs of your life to deal with the poor, the smelly, the lazy, or the defective - all in order to graduate.
personally I think it's abuse to try to withold an ACADEMIC diploma from anyone just cuz they refuse to help people. you shouldn't have to be a 'good person' in order to graduate highschool. highschool is not a test of your personality, it's a test of your intellectual abilities (though, at this point, it hardly even gets that done).
IMO, those who can't live without the help of others perhaps should reconsider life. life is not for everyone.

I also hear that getting your grandma to sign off for you works quite well, Shovelling the snow during the winter months, and mowing the lawn during the summer, back date it a bit, and u'll easily reach that 40 hours.....
or if u feel bad do half and half, make up half and get ur grandma to sign it and get a legit half and find somewhere that'll take u for 20hours....

i'm gonna try salcation army... basicalyl stand in a mall and collect money.. possibly sit 
.. but this is gay.. i hate heloping ppl and it shard to get time between work an all 30 horus of work and 30 hours of school..
