i like the 5.25" floppy method best but I guess 3.5" will work

constant takin out and putting back in is a pian in the *** ... if that where the case Network admins would have no jobs .. there would just be 1 pc with 500 HDD's in em .. then ppl would come into work and take thier hdd out and put it back in when they where done ..

well, the crossover cable will take less time then swapping hard drives (or moving one or whatever)...so depends how much time he has...there is the logic

time has nothing to do with this lol .. its based on if he knows how to do it or not .. and my guess is .... hes on the phone with tech support right now ..

well you dont even need cross over cable, just connect 2 computers together with cat 5-6 cable and manually assigned the ips on both computers. 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.101. and you have a connection. well for this kind of direct connection it all actually depends on your eithernet card. because new cards now days can do crossover auto detection ****.

but if you are not sure as everyone else said buy crossover cable.
