Cops Following you home!!!

Long story short...late night coming home after hooking w/ my friends..approx 2:30am...doing speed limit...and what do you know...I'm being followed by a cop all the way off from the highway....right to my drive way.

Drove into my driveway and got out of my car...stared at the cop...raised my arms up in the air and asked him "is there a problem officer"...no response from the pig...just looked away and drove off...what an @$$!

There are shootings, stabbing, armed robberies and who knows what else...and he decides to "escort" me home...this is where our tax dollars are going to. I understand not all cops are like that...but these are the ones that give other cops bad reputations!

btw: my car is only dropped on springs, w/ 17s on...and that's it...no engine mods, no fancy exterior molds/spoiler..etc...very stock...

Thats pretty weird.

You should have gotten his badge number or whatever number is on his car and called the cops and said he was stalking you.

Thats pretty ****ed up.

You could be a potential victim, suspect or your car could be stolen. If your car was stonlen, I'm sure you would want then to pull every Civc that matched your's. Checking up on people is part of their job.

Ok! If my car was stolen, why would be using the same plates. Also, as I mentioned earlier...he followed to my house...and I'm pretty sure he had enough time to check my plates and check the names of the street that I was turning into. He didn't have to hold my hands for me and walk me in...well, even though he didn't do that exactly...he might as well!

I know what others have said in regards to stolen vehicle and what not...but still...I'm over the age of 25...well over...spotless record...or close to....still...I guess it's just my luck.

I have been pulled over in my beater before...a K-car..Plymouth Sundance...c'mon!

I dont see any harm in him following you home. Maybe he was just doing a check as DumbasSi suggested.

A stolen car could still have plates on it and when the run your plates and info through CPIC, it does take time. SIRs are popular with theives so maybe they were just being pro-active.

one day i was coming back from the meet around 1-1:30 am and cop followed me from the hwy to my house. i got out to open the garage door, he asked me you live here, i said yes.

then he goes you know why i followed you, i said no. he said your tail lights are all out, and heck i looked they were all out non of the bulb was working. i was like wtf how did this happened.

i told him that they were working fine when i left the place and might be some electrical problem, he said get it fixed next time i go on the road. i replied yes, no problem and thx for pointing out the problem.

and then he left.
