You don't know the reasons the officer had to follow you home. Like what others have said, ie. DumbasSi and Cynikal said, you don't have any reason to be complaining.

The guy was simply stating he didnt like being followed by the cop and it wasn't necessary. I dont think it was either.

I understand where your coming from, and you live in Toronto so I am sure while he was following you home about 3 or 4 people got shot/stabbed or robbed. I know the cop is doing his job by following you home, maybe he really was checking something with the car (stolen etc). But it does only take a few moments to run plates and to figure out if a car is stolen. But then again, maybe he was going that way... probably not, but its possible. If the cop was worried about the car being stolen, he should of pulled you over, did a check and went on with his nite. Its a pain in the *** being followed by a cop, its like they are waiting for you to do something wrong to pull you over, and its nerve racking, for me anyways.

So calm down people He was just stating what annoyed him. Same as what everyone else does.

still a whiney bitch...complain about something thats important like the lcbo and beer stores not being open later...I had a cop follow me 2 nights ago, I dont care...continued to talk on my phone like he wasnt there cuz to me he was just another car on the street

cops are pigs, plain and simple. but they protect us and are very vital. we couldn't live without them and you have to respect the potential danger they put themselves through day in and day out for strangers.

the way i see it is you can't have the good without the bad.

I've been followed home many times. Once after I ran a yellow, once just turning into my block and a few times from timmies. Can't complain though, I'd much rather get escorted home than get tickets.
