I've been followed by police many times, about half the time I don't get a ticket. Some people brought up some good points that they might just be doing there job. Usually suspicious people get spooked when they see cops. My guess is they follow you home to see if you do anything out of the ordinairy. But sometimes I think they just follow me until they can think of a reason to pull me over haha. I.E My license plate is dirty, or my tail light is out. Really if that's the case why follow me! just pull me over and let me know and get it over with.

MMMMM......magical green pill on pg 2....MMMMMMM

So I'm guessing everyone missed what really happened to this poor guy. Actually....he should be quite happy nothing happened in terms of ticketing or even some jail time. The very first line of his ramble states the importance of his thread.

"Long story short...late night coming home after hooking w/ my friends"

"Hooking" is illegal!!!!!!! Maybe the cop thought you were sexy and just wanted to make sure you got home safe especially since there is stabbings and gun violence going on at night. You should go to the local cop shop and find him and say thank you officer for your kindness.....maybe even turn a couple of tricks for him for free while your at it. that's awefully selfish of you, tisk-tisk!

P.S. if you and your homie's ****** out seperate you'll prolly take in more of the market share.

p.s.s. everyone gets followed by cops now and then and I personally enjoy the extra special attn. If you didn't get ticketed or even pulled over, where da problem at? def think this falls under the whiner category.

no question

i've had a cop follow me to my friends house, when i got out, he flashed his lights twice and gave me a stern look.

dunno what his problem was.

cops are like hells angels

some of them are good, some of them are bad.

What is wrong when a police officer follows a civilian home? Nothing.

For someone that protects our community, puts their lives on the line, I think they deserve that much more than being called "pigs".

Some of you sounded like a police officer massacred your whole family, so much hate and dislike when most of the time, non of them have done anything wrong to you but on odd occasions, given you tickets for your car because it was modified.

Why being hostile toward officers? Treat people the way you wish to be treated is the fundamental idea of social behaviour. You give an officer attitude out of the blue, try to reverse the role and see if you can take some crap from a stranger and swallow it.

the cop was not following him home to make sure he got home safely.

how would you feel if i followed your sister home?

what if i asked for a glass of water? should she treat me how she would want to be treated if she was thirsty?

If I had a sister, I would approve you following her home. I like you.

I can imagine if I follow my gf home, she would get out and tell me "thank you, but we still aren't going to have sex tonight".

I was just frustrated with this CRAP! Thanks to those who repsonded either positively/negatively. The last thing I want to do is to start something b/w all of you. A lot of the opinions stated in the response are valid...and some were just opinions. I understand that they (police) are just doing their job, but on the same note, how far can they use that excuse for, right?

My concern is why? You ran my plates, and if there's nothing...let it be. There's no reason to follow me to my driveway. If those who think that I'm a whiney little B#@$H...i.e.,"Cynikal.Mindset", so be it. I would and could start a verbal war, but you know what "Cynikal.Mindset"...everyone has a right to their opinion!

To the officer, he knows nothing about you. For all he knows, the owner of the vehicle could be a psychopath even though the plate came out clean.

Perhaps his gut instinct told him to follow this car home and see what would happen next?

You came out clean, he made sure nothing went wrong, all is well, off he went. Happy ending ya?
